This guy is leaving a voicemail for his boss when he witnesses a minor traffic accident. Not fake actually happen. In late February, several stations broadcast interviews with a man named Michael Childs, who said that he was the one who left the voicemail message, that the clip was genuine.

Fake! How could the fellow tell at a distance, that the lady had a Bible and especially, what version (NIV)? Makes a good story, though, the ‘laying on of hands’ by a real, honest to goodness ‘Bible thumper’, and all!
This is at least ten years old, and completely scripted by some @$$hat who thinks he’s just the cutest thing.
Agreed. While the laughter sounds genuine, there are too many elements in it that point to a fake.
This is how network news is created most times.

I get a message that I have to agree to install the latest version of some other humbug about Internet Explorer add-on.

Another good one is “911 deer call.” There are two versions, censored and uncensored. I’d provide a link to youtube, but youtube has copped an attitude of some kind and won’t load right.

I do believe I’ve seen big NIV Bibles, with the NIV in large gold letters. If he’s fifteen to twenty feet away, I don’t find this detail questionable at all.
