Hey everyone,
The Ninth annual Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot concluded last weekend, and so much fun was had by all who attended, that a few of us have decided to keep the momentum of fellowship and fun going here in North Texas.
For those who missed it, the annual Shoot was held at a private shooting range just south of Dallas this year. The live thread (with a bazillion photos) can be found here:

We're calling our little follow-up gathering, the FR North Texas Turkey Shoot. No, we won't be hunting any turkeys, but we will be enjoying a nice day out with good friends, in a relaxed countryside environment.
This thread is intended to put out the word to any and all Freepers who'd like to come hang out with us for a day of shooting, picnicking, and great camaraderie.

Location: 5 miles south of Route 175 or 3.5 miles NE of I-45 (exit 270) on S. Belt Line Road
Uh.....you didn't think that whole spread was just for you, did'ya?
That's alright. This is just an informal weekend get-together anyway. There'll be plenty more.

I'm beginning to get a taste of what a key holder's life is like. It's work -- and you gotta herd cats! LOL
They're some good folks. Before they met us, they didn't prep, or vote, or shoot. Now they do all three.
We're gonna make 'em proper Freepers next :-)

Remember, God gives us lovely days in Dec and Jan too.
Days when you just do not expect the fine sunshine and weather.
It was a bit blustery today but we all had fun, it was fun to see the little ones playing.
Thanks. We THINK we may have one found. This will be the 4th we've sent an offer on. Keeping our fingers crossed.
