My wife had a terrible gastric attack today. She went to the ER and the attending physician said that her small intestine wall should be 1/8" is more than an inch thick!
I know I am not the most popular guy on this board and I have made many very unhappy.
But for this moment, can you please put aside that and pray for my wife? I 100% assure you that everyone who ever met her made it clear I married up and even my family loves her more than I. With good reason/
She is the sort of person that embraces every new person as a new friend and it takes all of 1/10th of a second to be lifelong friends.
A small prayer would be greatly appreciated.
Father God,
We lift up Mrs. FD 2003 to you in prayer. We are grateful that You are our Healer, our Comfort, our Peace. Your mercy is never-ending. We thank You that You go beyond our hopes, our dreams, our expectations. We thank You by Jesus’ stripes we were healed. We thank You that Jesus won the victory through His perfect life, death, and resurrection. He died for our sins that we would be made whole - body, mind & spirit.
May Holy Spirit, breathe new life in Mrs. FD 2003’s intestines - May He cause the thickened walls of the intestines to thin to the depth that You created them to be.
I thank You, for Your mighty miracles. Father God, honor freedumb2003’s humble plea of healing for his wife.

Irritable Bowel syndrome kinda thing. It causes all manner of inflimation/blockages. Not really a thckening but the end results are close enough. Pain and intestines not working properly.
you may be looking at surgery and an removal of that area of intestine. I had several feet of small/large removed and had an illeostomy for a while, now reversed.
It is dealable. Not fun, but it is all stuff that can be dealt with medically. Surgery is NOT always required and NSAIDS and stuff like prednisone can be used on most people effectively.
!: Don’t panic. The thickening thing- It’s a known medical issue that GI docs deal with often and successfully.
2: Learn what you can about the exact problem/diagnosis.
3: Don’t panic. I cannot emphasize that enough.

There are a lot of people here on FR who may not respond to your post but who will offer prayers for your wife. For every post there are 10 or more freepers who will be praying for her. She is lucky you came here to ask. It’s going to turn out okay.
