Okay, if I'm reading this right, we have all been suckered in a big way and with an outcome far worse we thought. Ask yourself, where is the Executive Order?
So far, there is no EO. What he issued were two memoranda (see the link above). Both very vague, no concrete proposals or edicts. One speaks of assembling a "Task Force on New Americans" to figure out how to make our society and it's institutions more welcoming to the shadow people. The second invites proposals and ideas on "improving" the process for getting into the US.
Now, if this is it, if that's all there is by way of documentation of the scam, we are in deeper doodoo than we feared. We have in fact entered a period of Cosa Nostra government. By this I mean he has just gave a nod and a wink to the executive branch - whatever any agency wants to do is fine with him, it's all part of searching for that better way to handle this 'crisis'. Want to hand out EBT cards? Fine, it's just another way of reaching out. Driver's Licenses? Why not? just let us know how well it goes. Voter registration? Sure, let's see how that makes them feel more welcome.
Like the mob, the boss doesn't need to directly order the hit, just let the boys know that certain things are quite acceptable.
Anyone else read these the same way? Or is my tinfoil wrapped a little tight?

What he did was get on Spanish Television and announce “ALLEE ALLEE IN FREE”. It may not be exactly what he said, but it is what they heard.
As has been proven time and time again, what one believes they heard is more important than what was said anyway.
I forgot to mention - the demonic element. Nothing concrete, no executive oversight, nothing to hang an impeachment or indictment on. Just let slip the minions. Nothing is his fault, anything outrageous is ‘just the act of an overzealous public servant’, but with the best will in the world.
And leave it up to his minions when they address the tidal wave to interpret as they see fit. No papers? No problemo. That’s what the prezzie said right?
I’ve also been waiting for the EO: commentary means little, we need to see the actual text of the thing.

Yep, diabolical. 100% political trap. If he actually wanted to do something permanent, he could have issued a blanket pardon and there wouldn’t have been a damned thing anyone could do.

I disagree that a pardon would have solved his problem. A pardon is for past offenses. He could pardon their past immigration violations, but without a change in the law, they are breaking the law again tomorrow, and would thus be deportable “under the law”. Therefore, offering a pardon without a law change is meaningless, since the violation continues unabated.

At present , it is nothing more than an administrative memo of understanding, absent any written Executive order.
However, he has televised his intent to the southern Border via Telemondo, and anticipates the flood of illegal "undocutmented illegals" arising from the Spanish
televized announcement .
Defund the DHS who advertized the need for "escorts" for the illegal immigration back 1/19/14, as they are "in collusion" with this Spanish invasion via E.O./memo.
The Executive and DHS are in collusion with this sedition .
I think a lot of us have been waiting to,see the EO. If this is all there is then it isn’t much. I sure couldn’t argue impeachment based on this.
My guess is that this is Probably more of the same as he did with Obamacare. When he was selling Ocare to the public “it’s not a tax”. But in court where it counts it was a tax that is authorized per the constitution, or so they argued. Maybe this is just the same thing in reverse.

Obama can do all this (IF he can) because the congress didn’t appropriate the money to deport. Period.
Now, not funding the enforcement of laws DOES lead to the scenario you describe (prosecutorial discretion to the point of mob boss rule) but it’s the money. It’s always the money.
Don’t pay for the laws and there’ll be none.

Similar to a Hillary scenario. She walked off, or danced off saying “Ta ta” to her juniors after providing the scenario I believe became Fast & Furious.
They don’t have to pass new laws (which would destroy their conservative support) they can just not fund enforcement of existing laws Obama (and the Chamber of Commerce) don’t want.
The GOPe is ready and eager to not fund the enforcement of deportation laws.
