Their main objective is to get the nuclear plant online and connected to the grid? I’ve been thinking about that recently.
MMM....toastie feet
STOP GLOBAL WEATHER NOW!!!
There would be massive loss of croplands and mass movement of populations south. War and famine would be inevitable.
I'm glad I won't live to see it.
Our only hope is that the alarmists are right and mankind has broken the cycle we've been in for the last 1 million + years, but I know they're wrong.
as long as the climate changes one way or the other, I get my federal grant
Good news, the polar bears won’t drown after all.
Feet Cold? Been watching WINDWALKER?

40 years old but very apt - the nuclear power plant can provide power to a large region after oil and gas all stop, and defending it for eco-nazis is the mark of civilization
I’ve seen it. Netflix has it.

Dark and disturbing, but then, I can enjoy that sort of movie.
I think you might find that Arctic temperatures might rise and sea ice melt some before continental glaciers form.
What's more important is what would be the same. Oil is a basic necessity, so the bureaucrats (and leftists) would still make it a sin requiring a sin tax. The products of combustion would still be a "scientific" basis for the cause of the cold climate.
What I want to know is what causes the major drop to begin. You can see the Toba drop at 74,000 ya, and I know that 22,000 ya Sakurajima blew out a 15 mile diameter crater and there were several other large volcanoes around that time also. If we had the chart going back a million years we could see if Yellowstone, about 640,000 ya had an impact as well as Long Valley in the 700ks
Dang, it’s cold out thar!
Glaciation to miles of depth of ice results from energy, not from cloud cover, IOW, the ice ages were rapid-onset and resulted from large impacts on the oceans.
