A stunning actress who asked Bill Cosby for career advice accused the comedy legend of hanky-panky after the two dined alone at his swank East Side townhouse, law-enforcement sources said yesterday.
Lachele Covington, 20, who has appeared on Cosby’s CBS TV show, filed a police report saying the beloved comedian put her hand under his T-shirt and guided it south toward his sweatpants, the sources said.
But Covington said she pulled her hand away — and that was the end of that. She told Cosby she was leaving and he said, “That’s fine.”

So, according to your standards, you must think Jerry Sandusky was not guilty, too. Several of his accusers had no physical evidence (DNA, fingerprints, video) either. Many of them did not come forward until years later and one even denied anything happened and had written letters to Sandusky comparing him to family. I suppose you think these boys all got together to cry rape and to ruin this saint of a coach to get their hands on Penn State’s millions of dollars.
As far as your not believing unless he’s found guilty in a court of law? That system is not perfect by any means. Look at OJ Simpson case. I suppose you think he was not guilty either. Or look at all the death row inmates that have been set free because a jury convicted them wrongly. Or look at any case that has had a hung jury. Even the people that are responsible for deciding guilt or innocence can’t even come to the same conclusion after seeing all of the evidence.
I can think for myself. I don’t need a jury to tell me what to think.
Most people, including myself, who think Cosby has done these horrible things are simply listening to what these women are saying and are using their God-given common sense in deciding for themselves if they are believable. Could I change my mind? Of course, if new details emerge or if Bill Cosby gives his version of these events. So far I haven’t heard much to suggest these women are all lying and Cosby isn’t saying much.
I agree with you. I’m waiting for some actual evidence and since I now know Gloria Allred is involved - I’m really skeptical. But, if there is solid proof of what they say - then let that come out too. After all these years we are just now hearing of this? I’m also of the opinion that in this obama economy, anyone (almost) will say or do anything for that almighty dollar.

My math says she was 6 at the time. 2014-2000=14. If she’s 20 now, then it’s 20-14=6.

The report is by the NYC police for an incident that happened in NYC, not LA.
The math is fuzzy here. If she is 20 now, and this happened 14 years ago in 2000, she would have been age 6.
Most articles on the topic indicate that the event allegedly occurred on January 25, 2000.
If every guy had a report filed for every time he guided a woman’s hand this way or that...Why, there wouldn’t be any PO-lice available to be hunting down all these innocent college-bound rap artists!
