He’s not STANDING on the dog - he has a foot on the dog!

if he did proceed to STAND on the dog - the dog is perfectly capable of moving

SPDD still reigns

Someone getting excited over this needs to get a life. No matter what issues one may have with Sarah, this is not one of them...

oops - didn’t see the other pics - HOWEVER, the dog is clearly not under stress - if so, he would simply move.

This is why we get Mitt Romney. On the furthest right of all sites, there are a huge chunk of people that think open liberalism is being ‘conservative’. Thats the mentality we have to go to political war with.

You have been the parent of a child with Downs Syndrome? If you haven't perhaps you should reserve judgment on criticizing the parenting skills of a person with a Downs Syndrome child.

I don’t know much about dogs, but if the child was hurting the dog, wouldn’t the dog bolt? I can’t see a dog lying there letting something painful be inflicted. I would think he’d get up and move away.

It’s not my child so...

I just know that for my kids I have general rules with animals because not all animals will behave like our own.

My Aunt had an especially mean little dog that bit the snot out of my sons thumb— that dog wasn’t like his Springer Spaniel we had at home. He could swing on the swingset and do just about anything with her.

We both learned from that bite and I cringe when I see people letting little toddlers crawl and horse around with dogs that are eating. It’s just my rule, it protects the kid and protects somebody’s pet that may be a nippy little chit.

If you get out of bed, you may have a tragic accident and die today.

Oh, my yes, stubborn as hell.

If you go to the Daily Mail page, you’ll see that many who are commenting are from the UK - it’s usually Americans who comment. The Brits are absolutely crazed on the subject of animal abuse. Child abuse, not so much. They see animal abuse in almost any photo. I have so many British friends on FB and they are constantly posting photos of animal abuse stories. I just skip over them.

Oh, give us a break. This is lab. They love this sort of attention. If he was being hurt, he would be getting up and moving.

Our kids used to climb all over ours all the time and he loved it!

Apparently the dog slept through all the animal abuse, lol! It’s a cute pix and Trig is a cute kid. Love that little boy.
