Skyfall has been labelled nonsense by Anthony Horowitz.
The author, who is writing a new James Bond novel himself, has admitted he was unimpressed by the latest movie in the famous franchise.
While Skyfall, which saw Daniel Craig take on the role of 007 for a third time, was a box office hit, Anthony admits he didnt understand what all the fuss was about.

Yeah, wouldn’t want to compromise the integrity of the franchise.

Sorry, but “Skyfall” was damn good—especially the motorcycle chase in the beginning. The homo-erotic villain, not so much.

I don’t recall the authors continuing the series having their books converted. I would like to see a be approach to a bong movie or perhaps a bbc miniseries. Something with more mystery and smaller scale. Perhaps along the lines of from Russia. Wonder if the broccoli soup control all be movie attempts?

The last two Bond films have been cut so quickly - scenes shift so fast - it’s hard to make sense of what’s happening much of the time - or maybe I’m just getting old.....

They tried saying they would unmask Bond’s female boss as a LESBIAN:
People got super pissed and talked about the movie a lot —which was exactly their aim.
I’m convinced all the recent blather about a Black Bond is exactly the same play:
CHEAP P.R.

I haven’t understood what all the fuss was about since Sean Connery gave up the part.

Skyfall isn't my favorite, but there are some fascinating parts of it that I think have passed people by. This mostly has to do with the fact that the studio was going bankrupt at the time, and they didn't know it the movie would even be finished. They seem to have made a lot of design choices based upon saving money, but I think they did a stellar job of getting away with it.
Consider this scene, when Bond goes to assasinate an assasin:
Bond vs. Patrice
This whole set is almost nothing but an empty dark room with glass and some projected images. It had to be pretty cheap, yet it actually looks cool.

Are you kidding? How about that scene where M is fleeing the bad guys in the middle of the night. She’s about a half a mile away from them on the side a hill, and what does she do? She turns on a high powered flashlight!!

Skyfall has been labelled (sic)nonsense by Anthony Horowitz. Concur.
Viewed it. Disliked it. This is the only Bond movie I refused to purchase.

I was extremely skeptical of a blond Javier Bardem going in, but he was the best villain in years.
He wasn’t really hitting on Bond, it was act of intimidation.

Sure, it was the darkest Bond movie ever, but we greatly enjoyed it.
Daniel Craig does a far better job as Bond than Roger Moore, and I used to enjoy Roger’s Bond.
Sean was still the best. They don’t make them like him, anymore.
