A similar situation happened around here many moons ago. They fired the driver, hired him back after the uproar, then fired him about a month or two later after the publicity died down.
Be interesting to see if the driver is still employed in two months.

Well they kind of stand by her, after their website was probably crashed by people supporting her they decided it would be a good thing PR wise to not fire her and move her to no delivery position. Let's wait and see how things shake out longer term whether they gently direct her to the door. And of course they reaffirm their position that employees have no right to defend themselves.
