Jane Fonda said she hoped for an open dialogue with veterans after about 50 former military members and supporters protested the actress’s appearance Friday evening at the Weinberg Center for the Arts.
“Whenever possible I try to sit down with vets and talk with them, because I understand and it makes me sad,” Fonda told a relatively full theater, responding to a submitted question. “It hurts me and it will to my grave that I made a huge, huge mistake that made a lot of people think I was against the soldiers.”
In 1972 Fonda visited Hanoi, North Vietnam, where she criticized attacks on the dike system along the Red River. A U.S. investigation later revealed the publicity of these bombings as propaganda. Fonda’s statements and a photograph of her sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft battery outraged many Americans and veterans, leading many to call her “Hanoi Jane” and a “traitor.”
Bob Hartman, an Army veteran who served in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968, said he blamed Fonda for breaking off negotiations among the countries and held her responsible for thousands of American lives.

Hanoi Jane, just ESAD, bitch. You are less than worthless. I know former POWs who remember what you did to their brothers in captivity.
What the Left means by open dialog is they talk to you and explain their position; you listen and agree. You are not allowed to present your view or to disagree; that would not be an “open dialog.”
She is like a mollusk who never found her rock to cling to.

YOU are directly responsible for the deaths of American POWs!
On at least two occasions:
1 - Your revealed to the enemy a list of POW SSN’s that were handed to you by a prisoner with the hopes you would forward the information to American authorities.
2 - When a POW insulted you rather than cooperate with your anti-American propaganda video, you told the enemy “Somebody ought to teach him some manners.”
In both cases American POWs died.
How are you going fix that?
“(1) Issue a full-throated public apology
(2) Donate $10 million to the Wounded Warriors or POW fund
(3) Denounce the Obama administration and Islam”
(4) And go kill herself.

Jane has realized that her disrespect for the troops is no longer fashionable and she is feels like she is trapped still wearing shoulder pads and big hair. She is as clueless as ever.
