I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?
Yay!
I read that over several times, and I still don't know what it is.
However, I for one look forward to the hegemony of our new Dicastery Stewards.
She didn’t mention whether she enjoyed it.
Many of your new hegemons are older Southern ladies, so things will be very tidy under this regime, and everyone will mind his manners. However, the food will be good.
CATholic Stewardship?
A conference to teach kitties how to be better air hostesses?
Ok. I know my humor stinks, I’ll never make it in stand up,
I thought it was a cute effort.
We didn’t see much of quaint old Savannah, unfortunately, although we got to watch fireworks from the 15th floor on Friday night, while drinking free wine.
Okay, I can deal with that. Don't expect me to curtail my dastardly demeanor, though. That's what puts the wag in my wiggle.
Heh.
It is unfinished. It was going to be a rehab center trap-door factory but the project fell through
She’s doing OK. Still has her moments, but they’re shorter and farther apart. Some things we don’t discuss.
Wise choice.
So, my daughter went to see “The Age of Ultron” on Friday. She thought the movie was excellent except for two lines (which I hope aren’t spoilers) that she felt were put in as an intentional attack on the Christian god.
At one point an artificially intelligent character (not Ultron) is asked what kind of creature it is and it responds, “I am.”
At another point that character tells another something like, “The problem with the Avengers is that they don’t understand you can’t have pure peace. Peace needs to be in balance with chaos.”
I think the scriptwriter was just spouting populist pap and didn’t really know, but I’m open to other interpretations.
lol
Sorry to disappoint you, but the new princess is fourth in line to the throne. :)
Catherine just made an honest mistake,
She forgot about Charles in the succession,
:)
No disappointment. Thanks for the information. :)
I think I used incorrect phrasing...I just should have said next in line behind George.
Her birth bumped Harry down the line, right?
Thanks. sweetie.
(That’s an easy mistake to make, LOL).
I do like Charles, though. He has some flighty ideas, but I think he’s a good father.
I’ve never liked Charles, and I don’t think the Queen does, much, either. I keep expecting her to abdicate in favor of William. Not far-fetched, I think.
Charles has been a disappointment to a lot of people.
Hi, y’all.
I survived 24 hours with Himself. We washed the trucks today, and though I helped him with his, all he did to help me with mine was use the power washer on it. The rest was left to me. Oh, yah...he hosed off the floor mats, which are still drying.
Needless to say, I wasn’t happy with him. But my truck looks much better!
And I was beginning to feel pretty light-headed and very achy from the waist down, so I knew it was time to come home before I pushed myself too far. That would have been disastrous.
Yesterday, we were in Walmart and he kept at me about using the cane, and insisted that the idea bothered me. I told him it didn’t because I used a cane before, years ago, but he insisted. I couldn’t make him understand that the only problem I had with being given a cane was that it appeared the doc thought it would stop the vertigo. He refused to listen, so right there, at the check-out at Walmart, I turned to him and said, “I think you just want to argue.”
He had no response.

It’s going to be 94 again today, but more humid than yesterday, so I will stay indoors and let the A/C function as it was meant to.
Eh?
