I just re-joined FR and I would like to post to my local NC state board but I am not able to. How do I get the ability to do that?

No thanks necessary!

Pocket knife was not there.

Bummer.

And I was about to have Son#2 sharpen it...

Don't! You have no idea what the blade will become!

You have no idea what the blade will become!

That might be true but first it must reappear. Else the speculation is moot.

I received a secret communique that informed me that some salt mine gnomes borrowed it. The veracity of that statement remains unverified.

Well, we ARE in the Flying Castle, and if you used said blade in the Lower Levels, there is no guarantee how it will transform before you see it again. There may be many transmogrifications before it slips back quietly into your pocket.

"... if you used said blade in the Lower Levels, there is no guarantee how it will transform before you see it again."

If it finds its way to the forges, and becomes transformed into Ben Wa balls, then it will never see the light of day again.

Sheffield steel, it might be reforged into gnomish instruments.
That is, unless the dwarves down there get it first.

Dwarves, gnomes ...

Darks, are you a little farther along with your mapping assignment than you’ve let on?

And why has your sister been quiet for so long?

Point to point navigation is possible from previously mapped point so long as you have beacons installed.
Basically, hook a transponder to a gnome and send him off scurrying.

But you haven’t navigated Doors yet, I take it? Not criticizing, mind you; I know that you only have a limited supply of gnomes.

Chaotic.
Tossing a gnome into hatchway zed alpha brought him screaming through whiskey delta airlock access.

I knew it was a mistake, back when we were putting things together down there, to make things that looked like doors just because they looked like doors.

That’s like mistaking a dinosaur’s stomach-stone for a common river rock.

I’m guessing you’re not worried about your private emails getting hacked.

Good morning. I got up late - didn’t feel like facing the horde. It’s been busy in the gym in the morning recently, and very crowded in the nursery. We’ll go after lunch when fewer kids are there.

I’m functioning, but not well. I think I got four hours of sleep, and that may be adding to my misery. Too much time to think.

What am I going to do with myself? And worse, now I have to pay to do my laundry. *sigh*
