I used to like A&W but they have done something with their formula, so I buy Barq’s when I want a root beer. I never heard of it until I was in my 40’s.

What I really want is a Dad’s root beer.

I’m sure Our Creator gave us things like CFIDS to test us on a daily basis, physically, mentally, and emotionally. Since He knows all things from the Beginning, He knows if I will pass the latest battery of challenges, or whether I will give in to the human part of me (cowardice) and whether I will triumph.

I am not a quitter. This is very difficult because of the CFIDS, but my intellect tells me there are solutions to every problem. I just have to look for them.

So it may take a day or two, but “eventually, I will get this darn shoe tied!” (From my two-year old son...)

I hated eggs, oatmeal and macaroni and cheese when I was kid, but I like them now. I had to learn to like mushrooms, and Brussels sprouts are just little cabbages, and I like cabbage.

Funny what you can adjust to if you keep an open mind.
