Former CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson said the Obama administration has been producing its own video content to promote “unfiltered” messages with taxpayer-funded staff, including hairstylists, makeup artists and wardrobe consultants.
By cutting out the news media, Attkisson said the White House has figured out how to avoid questions and accountability. She also revealed that the Department of Agriculture has more than 1,200 “media relations employees” nationwide.
“White House officials have exploited non-news media to spoon-feed unfiltered messaging, at times pure propaganda, into the public’s mouth. The Google-sponsored chat I mentioned – that came with a pre-selected audience and questions submitted in advance by the White House’s own YouTube channel – that’s the way they like it,” Attkisson, the author of Stonewalled, said during a speech at Hillsdale College. “They generate their own content, rely on surrogates to help spread partisan blogs, Twitter and Facebook, give lots of interviews to entertainment programs, digital media and feature press.”

I’ll only believe the Republicans are serious if and when they ever defund NRP. To me that is a litmus test. NPR is nothing but a taxpayer subsidized propaganda machine for the left.
Meanwhile, the local and national liberal media went NUTZ last week, when the Mike Pence announced the state of Indiana would create a state news website...
Last night BOR had an interview with a Boston Journalist. He dug up some dribble about Jeb’s use of marijuana and poor grades in High School which would have put that back around 1970 or so. The very same “joURINALS” who could not find one trace of the Obongo’s college transcripts or any other piece of background info on the charleton in chief. Anyone who believes anything being spewed from 99% of the media is not lefty propaganda is delusional.

Well gee! that would be seen as rather mean spirited don’t ya think? Furthermore, it would take at least a minimal amount of backbone and there is NONE of that evident in the two posers in “leadership” positions at the moment.
Josef Goebbels would be proud.
Notice too that he completely dodged addressing any aspect of O’Reilly’s question about Hillary’s advocacy of radical ideology when she was in college. That gets a pass as well.
First amendment / free speech is one thing. When those in the US government lie to the people in order to exact more control and to grow the government is not free speech, it’s a crime of fraud and those who do it ought to be removed and prosecuted.
