No one can recall these kinds of odds for Tiger Woods at any tournament, certainly not one at Torrey Pines. He is listed at 50-to-1, which prompted a question that was even more shocking than the odds.
Was that to win? Or to make the cut?

He might benefit from a simply sitting down with Johnny Miller and having a discussion about longevity.

Miller is very knowledgeable, but he had his own problems with aging and the yips. Better yet would be Nicklaus. He started focusing on precision rather than distance once he passed 30 and hired Phil Rodgers to help him around the greens as he approached 40. Nicklaus always had a reliable putting stroke that never left him.
I’ve been saying for a long time that Tiger is done. He may....MAY...win a tournament at some point but he will never win another Major. Never.

Enough, already. Tiger should sit it out for a few years and then return to the senior tournaments.
He has game problems, he has physical quirks, and he has mental problems. The later are both from his deteriorating game and his tabloid infidelity.
Going down is harder and faster than climbing up. Alone with himself is probably a very lonely place these days. I can't imagine what must go through his mind when he's flying at 40,000 feet, looking down from his Gulfstream wondering; "What have I done".
He was soooo close to immortality.
