Am I the only one who is tired of seeing Samuel L. Jackson, or Morgan Freeman in almost every movie ever made? Are there no other black actors?

Do not go. I took my 16 yo son. Excessively violent, anti religion, and you cannot unsee it. I regret seeing it and taking my son.

No, it has a parody of Westboro in it. At least that’s how I interpreted it. I thought the movie was great fun.

That's how I saw it. The pastor referred to "niggers" and "faggots" and "jews" from the pulpit. The point was to depict a bunch of assholes the audience would not mind seeing get killed.

Usagi_yo:

It was used mainly as f**kin'. The "hero" used it constantly. You may have missed due to the somewhat unintelligible dialects that ran rampant through the movie.

The audience loved the movie. You might hold off on young teenagers and a wife who does not enjoy graphic killing or executions.

The movie has a logic of sorts in that everyone was faregame and I did not see Christians portrayed any worst than anyone else. In fact, as logic goes they got some things in real life correct when it comes to teamwork and training in as much as a film of this nature could have - drama/comedy/action.

One nude shot for a split second at the end of a woman's butt, lots of cursing and some rather graphic killing.

I would very much recommend against anyone seeing the movie. It is suffused with propaganda designed to portray the left's arguments as "right" and also to portray anyone who disagrees with them as "Untermenschen" only worthy of death.

There is a scene in which the Main Secret Service agent violently murders everyone in a church after expressing contempt for their positions on abortion and homosexuality. Now of course the church is portrayed as a racist "Hate" church, but it was apparent to me that this was just to cover up the fact that they regard Christian ideas as offensive and that the people who express them need to die. According to the plot, he couldn't help himself for murdering all those people because he was under the influence of a mind control signal, but it left no doubt that murdering them was a very much a reasonable and appropriate thing to do. It was a left-wing blood orgy portrayed on screen for our entertainment, not far from the left-wing fantasy commercial regarding what to do about people who disagreed with them about "global warming."

It also pushed the left wing idea that humanity is a parasite on the planet and needs to be wiped out. Of course the "good" guys foil this plot, but do not refute the underlying premise that much of humanity needs to die.

It also has scenes where they give the secret service trainees dogs to nurture and love, but before they are allowed to graduate the program, they must demonstrate their loyalty to the Reich by shooting the dog.

Did I say "Reich"? Well *THEY* didn't say "Reich" but that is the impression I got from watching this movie, because this is exactly the same thing that the SS did in training some of it's officers, and I was aghast that they decided to use this same methodology to train the supposedly "good" guys.

There is also a scene in which the Hero secret service agent (the guy who refused to shoot his dog) is offered Anal sex by a captive Scandinavian princess as a reward for saving the planet.

The movie was very entertaining in terms of action, but it was very disturbing in terms of the underlying assumptions of all the characters involved. I could not help but think I was being deliberately manipulated to buy into the liberal mindset that much of humanity needs to die, and especially those people who hold Christian beliefs, and the "Good" guys are willing to do so if they are pressured a bit.

The bad guys die at the end, but the ideas which motivated them to do horrible things are never rejected, but instead they are left on the table as valid ideas. It is just this sort of subtle technique which can be counted on to move public opinion in the direction of supporting the murder of politically unpopular people.

This movie was left-wing genocide fantasy/propaganda.

There was a brief mention of anal sex that was totally out of place and I felt unnecessary in an otherwise flawless production. Oh, and it wasn’t gay.

Speaking of which, the thought just occurred to me if the Secret Service Agent had gone to a gay bar, said nasty things about homosexuals, and then proceeded to murder a hundred and fifty (or so) of them in a vicious and blood thirsty fashion, I dare say the outcry from the left-wing would be deafening, and everyone with a microphone would be denouncing what a horrible and vile thing the movie makers did.

But murdering everyone in a "racist hate church" is perfectly fine because opposing abortion and homosexuality is exactly like hating Blacks and Jews, so far as everyone in Hollywood is concerned.

Do not doubt that we will soon come to the time where being Christian will be regarded as tantamount to being a hate monger, and you will be accused of hating Blacks and Jews whether you like it or not.

They own the microphones, so your protestations of being portrayed inaccurately will not be heard by the public at large. All that will be heard is that you are a racist hate-monger who deserves to die, and that you only remain among the living because of the forbearance of the "good" guys.

But your time will be coming.

I heard the movie portrays Christians as “Westboro Baptist Church” crazies, and it leads the audience to cheer when they are killed.

Sounds like sick propaganda.

This is exactly right. Yes, they expect the audience to laugh and cheer as "hate" Christians are being viciously murdered with great violence and efficiency.

It *was* sick propaganda designed to normalize the idea that Christians ought to be murdered.

The Church members were victims of the bad guys final field test. Everyone on that church was affected by the weapon. When the protagonist realizes what has happened, he is obviuosly filled with revulsion.

He was filled with revulsion when he talked to the woman in the church before he started his murderous rampage. He could not withold his contempt for the ideas that some people oppose abortion and homosexuality.

Do you not recall his mention of having to "meet his homosexual boyfriend getting an abortion on a military base?" (Or words to that effect.)

The sort of revulsion he felt after murdering all those people was more along the lines of "Ooooppps! Fumble fingers me." As opposed to Oh My God!! I can't believe I murdered those poor people in cold blood! How can I live with myself after doing such a horrible thing?"

Very little remorse, not nearly so much as if he were horrified at what he had done. He acted more like he had committed a social faux pas than a series of vicious murders.

I agree that this movie was thinly-veiled propaganda. Christians are portrayed as evil, anti-semitic, racist bigots. Yes, the ‘church’ was more a Westboro farce, but they purposely mixed moral truth (condemnation of homosexuality and abortion) with bigotry to reveal their true agenda. (BTW, This is Step 3 of Genocide—progressive dehumanization overcomes the normal human revulsion against murder.)

And the cute rear end may have been gratuitous from a plot standpoint, but it was done with a purpose--another not-so-subtle jab that even heterosexual men prefer sodomy to true sexual relations.

Another positive is that you can get into the movie since majority are going to 50 Shades. So you don’t have to wait in line at all to get in and picking your seat is easy as you can sit anywhere. After having to sit up front in American Sniper, I was happy to go to a movie that was not popular for a change. Nice change.

He was being blocked from leaving the building, he said what he said in order to facillitate his departure. He had no desire to kill these people, at least in the movie I saw. ymmv

Yes, the man that singlehandedly whipped six hoodlums in a bar and later viciously killed a ~ hundred people was blocked from leaving by a small woman.

No, he said what he said because it was intended by the script to portray those who hold religious beliefs as being "untermenschen" who deserved to be mocked, maligned, and ultimately killed.

If you don't see the left wing aspects of this script, then you are simply buying into their underlying premise.

They MEANT to portray these murders as a minor social blunder, rather than a great evil. Those people represent the Caricatures of Christianity that is the left wing world view. They think all Christians are like those people portrayed in that movie.

They also think they ought to be killed or imprisoned.

I agree. It was an effort to "Normalize" sodomy which subsequently implies a normalization of homosexual sodomy.

It was irrelevant to the plot, but absolutely essential for it's propaganda benefits. Eventually they will be portraying Bestiality and Pederasty as "normal."

I know that people who go into a situation looking to be offended generally are.
