The Weekly Gardening Thread is a weekly gathering of folks that love soil, seeds and plants of all kinds. From complete newbies that are looking to start that first potted plant, to gardeners with some acreage, to Master Gardener level and beyond, we would love to hear from you. This thread is non-political, although you will find that most here are conservative folks.
No matter what, you won’t be flamed and the only dumb question is the one that isn’t asked. It is impossible to hijack the Weekly Gardening Thread. Planting, Harvest to Table(recipes)preserving, good living - there is no telling where it will go and... that is part of the fun and interest. Jump in and join us!

My sister was given a 5% chance with the worst form of brain cancer. Then we were told she wouldn’t make it to 2014. Wrong! I will go see her this weekend.
There are new therapies .. I hope your Drs have looked into these for you!

Heavenly Father, We all come before you with a solemn heart and in need of Your intercession. We pray that the cancer that has come into this dear man's life soon fades into a quick remission.
Comfort him upon his sickbed, and ease his suffering. We beg for deliverance, and submit that no healing is too hard for the Lord. We therefore pray that You bless his family with Your loving care, renew his strength, and bless him with peace, comfort and understanding in Your loving name.We believe in Your loving capacity for miracles, and ask for this on this man's behalf. As we grow older, I know we become closer to the day you accept us back into your kingdom. We ask that you delay that holy union if it be your will. In your name we pray,
Lord, Your scripture set forth that You heal all diseases and whoever believes in You will not perish but have an everlasting life. Strengthen this man, Lord, in this time of his illness. Sustain him as he lays sick in his bed. When You were on Earth, you did all things good and healed all kinds of sickness.Lord of all…this man is suffering, we all ask to do what is right, good and best for him. As it fits your plan, heal him and mend his body and lovingly grant him days of better health and strength. As he awaits your grace and blessing please grant him an extra measure of patience, endurance and perseverance. Lord we know You are able to heal. Grant this man the wisdom to understand Your timing.

We lift up JRandomFreeper to you. You know the plans You have for him, plans of good and not of evil, to give him a future and a hope.
May You have mercy on him and heal him by the blood of Jesus. Nothing is too hard for You. What You do for someone, You’ll do for another.
We ask Holy Spirit to flow through every cell in JRandomFreeper’s body and expel all cancer. Cancer has a name and it must bow to the name of Jesus.
Give JRandomFreeper and his family peace that passes understanding as they look to You for their strength. You do not extinguish hope.
Because Jesus won the victory, we are able to believe in miracles. Every Promise in the Bible is ours. To God be the glory.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
