MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) For the first time in more than five years, thousands of people in the metro area have a chance to apply for Section 8 housing.
That means you only have to pay for 30 to 40 percent of your rent, and the federal government will pay your landlord the other 70 percent.
Applicants can choose their rental as long as the landlord agrees. There are 2,000 slots open online through Friday for people in Anoka, Washington, Dakota, Scott and Carver counties and in rural Hennepin and Ramsey counties.

Gee, more people wanting free sh1t than there is free sh1t.
Wonders never cease. (Yes I know it’s not completely free but damn near close and others are paying for most of it.)

More locked in Democrat votes! Gerry Ford signed this bill in 74, sadly.

In my old hometown, outside Chicago, the houses for sale specify ‘only owners who will live in the house will be considered’. Too many people buying houses and then renting them out Section 8 to get the Fed money. Crime has skyrocketed. Good luck to these neighborhoods.

Question? Can everyone in the US apply for section 8? Why only this number? "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat." 2 Thess 3:10. (Those who shall not work, shall not have section 8. my paraphrase.)

Direct Gunpoint Theft from the Middle and Lower Classes.
The only effect of this program is artificial rent inflation, artificial property valuation and taxes, and artificial expansion of bank balance sheets.
All the while, destroying neighborhoods that were stable for decades.

Barack the Kenyan has been importing a lot of ISIS types lately. According to Jeb, they are far superior to Americans, start more businesses, are more entrepreneurial, have more and better looking kids than Americans do, have better families...doo dah doo dah... you know, horsesh*t.

They can be relied on to trash 100% of their dwellings and ruin neighborhoods within at least a 1 mile radius with their feral, thieving, destructive offspring.

Let's be bluntly truthful about this, shall we?
"That means you only have to pay for 30 to 40 percent of your rent, and the federal government American tax payers and corporations via involuntary payments to the Federal Government will pay your landlord the other 70 percent."
The Federal Government is merely a conduit in this transaction.
The Federal Government has no money of it's own. Only money created from thin air by the Federal Reserve and income tax receipts.
