A Weston parent urged the Broward School Board on Tuesday to fire a teacher he claims called his son a "rag-head Taliban.".
Youssef Wardani said Maria Valdes, who teaches French at Cypress Bay in Weston, called his 14-year-old son a Taliban four times in class last month.
"I want her fired," said Wardani. "As a parent I should not be spending my time in front of [the School Board], explaining to them what should have been done on Day One … My son is not a rag-head Taliban."

Is this “true” or is this like the scandals in England where Islamists were forcing out non-muslim teachers and administrators by making all sorts of allegations?
Fired for an insensitive insult? I am not gonna be one of those who says it was awesome to call a kid an insult like this, but with CAIR involved I will bet actual money that it was made up. Anyone who knows anything, and I mean, anything about CAIR knows that getting a student to pretend he was called something like that by a teacher is the kind of stunt they are willing to pull and have pulled in the past. These people need hate crimes, that’s the long and short of it.

I seem to remember a bunch of hoo haa about Korans being flushed down a toilet. Back then my first comment was, “Where the hell do they get toilets that will flush a book? Mine will barely flush turds!”
When this story came out yesterday, there were, unfortunately, plenty of posters who sided with the ragheads. How sad that they are willing to cannibalize their own kind like that.
