Is it the motorcycle? I think part of it was the job. But seriously, can you see Daryl coming up to a new group and being persuasive enough (and non threatening) to get them to come back to Alexandria?

I might trust Aaron, but would probably flee when I saw Daryl.

That's a complicated question.......

First off, I think he bonded with the two guys (regardless of their sexual orientation and I've been there) based on the their own fondness for motorcycles. They've collected the parts but don't know how to put them together....LOL! That intrigues Darryl.

I suspect that Darryl will reassemble the motorcycle and set off on his own as a "recruiter" and there will be episodes of his own adventures.......whether or not he will actually "recruit" people for Alexandria will remain to be seen.....

Daryl's job, like Eric before him, would be to provide overwatch for Aaron.

I imagine had Eric not been injured the group would have never known of his presence.

Excellent point. Of all of them, Daryl would be the last one suited as a "recruiter" due to his hostile appearance and mannerisms. So what would be the reason behind asking Daryl to take that task? Hmmm....
