Hillary Clinton Will Not Implode!
American Thinker ^ | March 14, 2015 | Doris O'Brien

My initial encounter with Hillary Clinton (then Rodham) happened over 45 years ago, when I was unwittingly subjected to what turned out to be the first speech of her long and contentious political career. I had returned to our mutual alma mater for my fifteenth college reunion and found myself seated in the audience of alumnae at her graduation.

Hill was pretty mousy back then. It was, after all, the cusp of the '70s, and she was likely hovering on the fringes of the hippie culture. Her hair looked untamed, and she peered out at us through large, owl-like glasses. Behind her on the stage sat the Wellesley Class of '69, by whom she had been chosen as the occasion's designated spokesperson.

Tough it out, Hill. After all, you and Bill have done that for years. Delay, obfuscate, deny, lie. Make your accusers look like Darth Vader. Accuse THEM of committing YOUR crimes. The MSM will cover for you...eventually.

Gradually a GOP challenger will rise to the surface. If he/she happens to be articulate and heavens forbid, conservative, the MSM will do your dirty work for you. He may do something as simple as misspell "potato" and they'll have a field-day. They'll take him apart plank by plank for you. Your stock will quickly rise and all of this will soon be forgotten. Sure, you are a first-rate liar and have more garbage in your background than a left-over yard sale, but they'll quickly forget all of that and circle the wagons.

Change the subject. Give it some time. Wait until the firestorm quiets down. In time, this too will slowly sink below the media consciousness. Then call it "old news" if anyone mentions it or if new revelations arise. The MSM thinks like you do and shares your dream of transforming what was once a great nation into a third-world banana republic, like the current occupant of the Whitehouse is trying to do, so don't despair. Just get that nomination and the MSM will get their minds right soon enough. Given a choice between a true conservative and you...well...you could commit mass murder and they'd still shill for you!

So keep your chin (the little you have left) up! Give it some time. Sure, you and your jewel of a husband, have the ethics of even the worst alley-cat, which would make any GOP opponent look like a wind-driven saint by comparison but in truth, honor and integrity no longer matters much in this society. We learned that when Bill was elected and reelected. Just do like he did and you're gold!

So don't give up! He wrote the playbook. He knows how it is done. But then....you knew this already.................didn't you?

The author gives this witch too much credit about paying dues and party loyalty.

Innate deceit, deception, collusion, intimidation, subversion and stonewalling all cloaked under a bevy of lawyers bearing legal shields that would make a Roman Battle Turtle proud ARE NOT party loyalty and paying dues.

She got to whatever place she is by sheer gall and arrogance coupled with probably the most criminal mind and intent this country has ever known. And she has made some enemies who heretofore held to that adage “if you’re gonna kill the King (Queen), then you’d damned well better be able to kill her.

Blood is in the water...and the sharks are circling.

I hope you are right, Gaffer, but the thing that reminds me most of the Clintons is the “Terminator” movie. You think they are down for the count and they keep coming back. At one time, common decency would have kept them out of the spot light but as you know, they have no qualms or compulsions.

Agreed. I wish it were not true but as I learned when Obama was reelected, my strong desires won’t change many things. My thoughts are these: Hillary is totally lacking in charm and charisma, unlike her husband. He came across as a good ole boy and could ingratiate himself with voters. People overlooked his crimes. Hillary is a different animal. She always tries to be the smartest person in the room and rubs people the wrong way. That inhuman cackle of her grates on nerves like scratching a backboard with your fingernails. But...then....I didn’t think she’d be elected Senator from NY (neither did Limbaugh)...but she was.

We can hope. They never got Capone on crime - they got him on income taxes. Something like this email business and her deletion of half the emails, etc. is going to bite her.

It is an excuse to keep the hearings going on in Congress until the next elections and she’ll be dogging interviews and questions about why she isn’t showing up to testify. I think they shot their wad with their “A BJ is not sex” meme.

Correct. They vote for Democrats and they vote for the nanny state.

Right. Young, mind-numbed robots put Obama over the top, didn’t they? With Obamacare and the weak economy, their futures aren’t too rosy but they remain clueless. You can combat ignorance with truth but how do you dispel idiocy? As Larry the Cable Guy said, “You can’t fix stupid.”

I wish that were true. Things used to work that way but anymore I just don’t see it. The Justice Department is nothing more than a political arm for Obama. The Republicans who see what is going on zips their lips. We don’t have anyone who will get down in the mud, the blood and beer with this crowd and do what it takes to win. I’m starting to see a few exceptions i.e. Ted Cruz, Cotton. But I’ve been burned one too many times (Rubio) to expect much from any of them. I don’t pay much attention to what they say. I watch what they do.

We may have a chance if Bush can get torpedoed early. His money will put him in the fight to Super Tuesday, but I’m hoping everyone has found out that he’s a Mexican by then.

I don’t think she’s physically capable of a presidential run.

She is definitely showing her age. The rigors of a presidential campaign are enough to put most of us six feet under.

I hope that he gets no further than that. I’ve had it with voting for RINOs just because they are the only alternative....McCain, Dole, Romney, and now, another Bush. We can do better.

Fact is, Hillary just isn’t a great candidate.

Her speaking style is boring, her tone condescending, and her ideas always boilerplate-leftist spiel. She has a visible contempt for the public that shows at question time (or lack thereof) that inevitably turns voters off. Plus she has enemies in the Obama-Jarrett-Communist wing of the Dem party that now runs the show there.

She may not implode, but she’ll probably get stepped-on, again - just like in ‘08.

You may have something, Canuck_Conservative. It would be great if she took all of the oxygen out of the room so that there isn’t much left for another dimmocrap who may push in front of her. Or so weakened by all of this until she doesn’t stand a chance in the general election.

This is from P.J. Media. So many have had her number for a long time. I hope it all comes out and demolishes her.

What an awful person Hillary Clinton is should come as no surprise to anybody over the age of 30, except of course her designated, pathetic, soul-corroded hacks like David Brock, the head hack and nonentity at the home of hacks and nonentities, Media Matters, and the ineffable Lanny Davis, who’s become a sad caricature of his old Clinton-defending self from the Bubba administration. But the late New York Times op-ed columnist, William Safire, had her number early on, as this gem from 1996 about the prevaricating first lady illustrates:

Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our First Lady — a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation — is a congenital liar. Drip by drip, like Whitewater torture, the case is being made that she is compelled to mislead, and to ensnare her subordinates and friends in a web of deceit.

1. Remember the story she told about studying The Wall Street Journal to explain her 10,000 percent profit in 1979 commodity trading? We now know that was a lie told to turn aside accusations that as the Governor’s wife she profited corruptly, her account being run by a lawyer for state poultry interests through a disreputable broker.

She lied for good reason: To admit otherwise would be to confess taking, and paying taxes on, what some think amounted to a $100,000 bribe.

Also: Vince Foster! Travelgate! HRC’s habitual m.o. is to lie, obstruct justice, hide documents, cut corners, indulge in petty legalisms, suborn perjury — whatever it takes to save her sorry hide. Safire concludes this instant classic with this:

Another reason for recent revelations is the imminent turning of former aides and partners of Hillary against her; they were willing to cover her lying when it advanced their careers, but are inclined to listen to their own lawyers when faced with perjury indictments. Therefore, ask not “Why didn’t she just come clean at the beginning?” She had good reasons to lie; she is in the longtime habit of lying; and she has never been called to account for lying herself or in suborning lying in her aides and friends.

No reason to think she’s changed her spots since. And this is the woman most Democrats hoped to foist on the American public as the president of the United States.

We continue to hear that it is inevitable that Hillary will win her party’s nomination. More and more the caveat is added “but she may not win the general election”. And this is what the LEFT is saying.

What does this say about the state of today’s Democratic Party?

What does it say about liberalism itself, that Hillary may well win by default, that there is no rising star, only staid 70’s and 80’s vintage pols in the wings who are proven losers?

Liberals wanted liberalism, and with Barack Obama they got it. Liberalism itself is now being seen in an entirely different light than a mere few years ago. Liberal governance is failing every where you look. This is the toxic atmosphere in which any Democrat must operate in 2016.

I think Barack Obama’s presidency has destroyed the Democratic Party. Evidence abounds that reliable factions of support from the past can no longer be counted upon.

Millenials are moving away from them. Women voters feel betrayed. No, not all, but enough to make a significant difference in the coming election. Will blacks turn out for Hillary like they did for Barack? I don’t think so. Independent voters? Lost. Unions? Wounded severely and reconsidering allegiances.

Things have gotten so bad for the left that their vaunted media are showing signs of opting for self-preservation. It had to happen, after all, it is they who sold us Barack Obama.

So I don’t think it matters that Hillary may well survive to gain the nomination, or that someone may rise up to defeat her.

Whoever wins the Democratic Party’s nomination for 2016 will be boarding a ship with holes in its sails.
