Who are the 5 Republicans that are going to vote for Lynch?

Posted on 04/23/2015 4:32:37 AM PDT by nuconvert

Has anyone heard?

I assume it's the usual RINOS. What's the point of them being Republicans?

Dan Coates (IN) is opposed to Lynch, thank goodness. You never know with him.

I thought she needed 60 votes to bring it to the floor for a vote or Mitch never went back to 60 Votes

The Democrats changed the rules to prevent filibusters on presidential appointments other than Supreme Court nominees and McConnell never changed it back.

Whoever they are — they must agree with Lynch that any illegal invader has as much right to your job as you do.

I been there done that with Johnny Backstabber. I’ll wait until the actual FLOOR vote, myself. He and Saxby (was) are show vote experts. Can’t trust either one.

I think McConnell will eventually let this go to a plurality vote myself. After he has convinced himself that there are enough YES votes plus Democrats to confirm this bitch.

Those unlucky 5 (those who have to vote YES against their constituents) will be ones with strong support and can withstand a YES vote. The rest of the quisling RINOs in precarious favorability positions will be allowed to vote no after that. It’s what I call Special Dispensation from the Majority Leader.

This whole Senate, nearly all but a select few Patriots, is comprised of a bunch of quisling, scheming, conniving self-interested, self-aggrandizing, backstabbing traitors in my opinion. They’re not even worth the powder...

I received a call from Senator Ayotte’s office a couple of days ago, they were conducting a telephone “town hall”. There was a queue for questions. A moderator came on and asked what my questions was, I told her I wanted to know how Senator Ayotte is going to vote on the Lynch nomination. I waited patiently online while she answered the questions she allowed to be asked. Near the end, two people that she hailed to ask questions had apparently hung up, so there was time to take more questions. Despite that fact, she ended the call without allowing me to ask about her vote on Lynch.

I am afraid she will be a “Yes”.

The list of anti-American, anti-Constitutional criminals continues to grow. May Justice find them all.

Yesterday, I cited a Congressional Quarterly analysis showing that Senate Republicans have voted with Obama more than 50% since the beginning of the new Congress – more than they did while serving in the minority. But there’s more to the story. It’s not just the fact that Republicans are voting with Obama, it’s that they have deliberately ceded structural control of the chamber to Democrats.

Typically, the majority party will manipulate the floor process to block initiatives from the minority party and vote on wedge issues favorable to their side – ones that embarrass those in the minority. As such, even if the majority party lacks the votes to overcome a filibuster and pass the legislation, they can use the amendment process on the bill to shame the minority and draw sharp contrasts in the hopes of winning the next election. Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) was the ultimate master at pursuing Obama’s agenda while blocking all Republican amendments.

You beat me to it. Isakson is a total POS RINO. We will never get rid of him. The Dunwoody business crowd loves him. He needs to get primaried next year but I don’t think its going to happen. He’s got millions in his little campaign warchest. I have not voted for the guy in the last two go arounds. I just skip over that part of the ballot.

I didn’t have a question really about Perdue. Johnny, however would have had he not received a flood of emails coupled with the fact he is up for reelection next year.

Regardless, he is a RINO - always has been.
