So! You have successfully purchased an Apple Watch, or you’re interested in how the setup process works. Either way, you are to be congratulated for your initiative and willingness to take a risk on a brand new platform, one that lives on your wrist and makes your wrist part of how you live. Also, it has a really great Mickey Mouse watch face.

We’re here to help. This article explains the major steps you will need to go through to set up and understand your new Apple Watch. It is virtually identical for all versions of the watch, from the least-expensive Sport on up to the Edition. Be warned that this workflow isn’t 100 percent comprehensive — these are the main things you’ll need to know to have a deep and fulfilling relationship with the new technology resting just above your hand.

And I gave credit to swordmaker when he put a legit apple post a day or so ago . helping people with there apple is good . pimping not so much.

Yes, because it was a technical article on issues with Macs. . . and this isn't? It describes how to technically set up a new Apple Product that is actually not as intuitive as most Apple products on the day that Apple users are receiving the first deliveries. YOU have no use for that product so some how that makes it an AD, even though it is fully technical in nature, except for the cat video?

You don't get to make the call. Apple did not pay for this article. Apple is not selling any more Apple Watches because of this article. Simply you don't find a particular article on Apple of use to you, someone among the 700 plus Freepers of the Apple ping list do.

I find it very useful for understanding more about the Apple Watch!

I really don’t know what it is about some people hating Apple Products so much that they don’t even want Apple Users themselves to have any “information” about the product! ... LOL ...

Well, that’s impressive....but I still wouldn’t need one. Don’t use a smart-phone, don’t ‘text’ or get texts, don’t travel through time zones...

But if you made it pretty and put diamonds on.... ;-)

You don't get to make the call.

And you don't either. And furthermore, you aren't the thought police.

Is that clear enough for you? Knock it off!

You’re welcome, and I agree. Kitties don’t like it when food doesn’t play fair.

Enjoy your security-deficient products.

(For the record: a watch that you can't use without an iPhone is fundamentally ridiculous. So if you don't have an iPhone, instead of paying $350 for the Watch, you're now batting in the neighborhood of $1000 in order to use the Watch. No thanks.)
