Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson's already complicated love story has now devolved into a series of competing accusations of betrayal and coercion.
On Friday, less than a month after saying 'I do' and just one day after the newlywed couple announced they were expecting their first baby together, Ms Griner filed papers to have their marriage annulled.
Griner released a statement saying: 'Last Wednesday, Glory and I agreed to either legally separate, get divorced, or annul our marriage.
'I can confirm that today I filed for an annulment. In the week prior to the wedding, I attempted to postpone the wedding several times until I completed counseling, but I still went through with it. I now realize that was a mistake.'

It’s sad, but the rebuild will take time. And, though I think Byron Scott was as competitive a player as I’ve ever watched, I’m not convinced he’s any better a coach than Mike Brown, so I question the Lakers’ ‘15-’16 prospects even if the draft, which seems pretty deep, goes well.
That brings up the interesting question of “can a same sex marriage actually ever be truly consummated in the traditional sense?”
