I repeat, how many Americans know what Joe McCarthy looks like? Take Joe McCarthy’s pic to Time Square and ask a thousand people who.he is and see how many will.be able to identify him.
But the more serious point being it’s totally irrelevant to anything, given that Ted Cruz is by some distance the smartest guy to have run for president in decades, is totally fearless,highly principled, and is able to bring the fight to the enemy more effectively than anyone else, not to mention being the best debater in the field by some distance.
The mere mention of Cruz or Palin send liberal democrats and RINOs screaming into the night. I’ve never seen so much hate generated by the left or within the GOPe for any of the other conservatives out there.
Cruz and Palin are proven and have the political scars to show for their conservative efforts. Some of the other conservatives may come close but I think Cruz and Palin could be a strong ticket in 2016.
I also think the leftists pollsters, media, GOPe, and other democrats have propagandized them for as much as they can. Cruz and Palin have been tested are still standing strong for their conservative values. In a sense they have been vetted by the opposition that seeks to destroy them.
Cruz has exceptional intellect, debating skills, and constitutional knowledge. Likewise Palin has exceptional energy, beauty and charisma. Attributes both men and women voters can admire. The opposition fears them the most because of these. Combined they could be awesome against the leftist cause.
Conservatives should not be willing to compromise their values. It would be a mistake to support another Mitt Romney and expect to win in 2016. Let the opposition compromise for a change or go down in defeat with their retreads from the sixties.

In my opinion, there have been a lot more Walker threads than Cruz, so just because every single political thread doesn’t mention him in some way, it’s not because he’s being blacklisted. Maybe you need to do a little research. But let me offer this one opinion of my own. Walker is a great governor and I think he’d make a good president. However, I want to return to the US Constitution as a basis of our federal government’s operation. The man I believe who os the best choice for that is Ted Cruz. If he goes against what appears to be a conservative vote, he explains his vote. Unlike Walker and Paul who seem to flip-flop, depending one the group they are talking to, Cruz stands true, even if booed. I want someone who stands on principle, not for every opinion out there. Who could trust a person like that? I’m certainly NOT sure that Walker would undo the amnesty by fiat that has recently been imposed upon us by Obama. He has gone back and forth on that issue so much that I don’t trust him.
Cruz is an insider ? What are you smoking ? He is despised by insiders and the establishment. He is the statesman for our generation. A transformative figure.
Walker is not a bad man, but he’s not the right man. I called for his drafting in 2012 when he was needed to stop Willard and Zero. Today, we need Cruz.

President should have an authority to negotiate the trade deal until it is finalized, then send the bill to the Congress for up-or-down vote with no amendment. (Otherwise, President has to go back and re-negotiate. How long will it take to get it done? That's why it is called “Fast Track”)
In response to people who are afraid that he voted to give more power to Obama, he said that he didn't trust Obama at all. Obama won't be in the office in 19 months. He looked into the future for the next president to have an authority to negotiate. Hopefully, the next president will be a Republican, especially him. Now is the time to get it passed with Democrats. If we wait for the next administration (Republican), Democrats in Congress will vote it down no matter what.
For TPP, he said it was stupid to have the text classified. He READ the TPP. It was relatively a straightforward trade agreement. He didn’t have weeks to study each paragraph closely. Unfortunately, from the past history of the administration’s abuse of power, the secrecy gives the impression that they are hiding something horrible in the bill. Fortunately, under TPA they have to make any trade agreement, including TPP, public for 60 days before the Congress can vote on it. People can study closely at this time. But personally he wanted the text public right now.
