Thank goodness they didn’t kill the child. So many times in these types of cases, the child/ren are killed also.

Yeah, I was discussing the mass shootings with a liberal and the usual outcome of the mass shooter taking his own life after someone else shows up with a gun and I said the solution was simple make it a law that the mass shooter must shoot himself in the head first before he goes on to shooting others. The liberal had to think about it for awhile before he said it probably wouldn't work. And I pointed out that more gun laws wouldn't either being people intent on murder are already set to break the law. He had no answer and just stomped away.

This fact that this happened in our city is unusual. We just don’t have that much violence in Pearland although it has drastically changed during the last five years as the population has soared.

other people in the room got real quiet and just walked away...

it was just one of those moments where everyone sensed that such an extreme level of stupidity might indeed be contagious and it was best just to leave and not tempt fate.
