The current attempt to direct the symbols of South Carolina leads me to believe that there may an ultimate goal -the repeal of 2ndA-. Maybe "we" as patriots can discuss and provide discussion as to why the separate states should be able to present symbols as appropriate to our location. As an example; The State of Illinois, in legislation, has designated the Cardinal as their State bird. Is this not a tacit acceptance of religion and the Roman Catholic church as the preferred religion of Illinois? I wonder, how many of the 13-colony states have firearms in their flag? I disagree but, where does the political-correctness end. I posit it ends in the 10th Amendment (albeit torn asunder by A. Lincoln). Any up for some coordinated discussion near-worthy of Mark Levin? Am I barking up the improper tree? Do need another roll of tinfoil?
With its roots in the American Revolution, the SC state flag has to go. After all, had the revolution failed, Britain would have ended slavery in America by the early 1800s.
A Marxist view of the revolution is that it preserved the status quo - and just reassigned power.
Connecticut motto on the state flag: Qui transtulit sustinet, “He who transplanted us, sustains us still.” I’m pretty thats a reference to a Creator.

Or maybe it’s urging you to worship Thomas Hooker...
This is the cross of Saint Andrew, the Patron Saint of Scotland.

Hence its affinity for and with islam. Liberalism/PC is merely Western society's sharia in action.

Ive often windered what symbols...the other 7 out of of our 57 states would have on their flags....if they indeed existed?
I used to have a little book that described the flags for each state. What the symbols and colors meant, how they were designed, and so forth.
It would have caused the perpetually offended to foam at the mouth.
In the late 1890s, Governor Francis P. Fleming, a nationalist, advocated that St. Andrew's Cross be added so that it would not appear to be a white flag of truce hanging still on a flagpole. Floridians approved the addition of St. Andrew's Cross by popular referendum in 1900. The red saltire of the Cross of Burgundy represents the cross on which St. Andrew was crucified, and the standard can be frequently seen in Florida's historic settlements, such as St. Augustine, today.
No-that flag is phallic and has homosexual overtones-it’ll stay.
Maryland the best flag.
(Secret rebel stuff and heraldry)
But the dumbest motto.
Manly deeds, womanly words.
(Like the first line of a BeeGees song or something)
I think our motto should be Gateway To Ohio or Maryland: Almost West Virgina.
But nobody ever asks me.
