Surely, by the time this case reached trial, the police would have established this as an aspect of the defendant's motive(s) for killing her, by examining phone records and any other data that would support prosecution.

This is a local new item for me. The womans body was found in the woods about 5 miles from here. The media has reported it but it’s been somewhat low key. To be honest, I wasn’t aware that the verdict was reached until I saw this thread. WFMZ.com and MCALL.com have already pushed the story to the back of the stack.

They may have been. I don’t know. I was replying to the harsh condemnation by the poster. Apparently he leads a perfect life and anything less deserves the death penalty...he could be a muslim for all I know though. They believe in the death penalty for everything.
