Elections have consequences - we were warned
June 26, 2015 | Self

This is exactly why, when conservatives sit on the sideline awaiting the 100% pure candidate, we damage ourselves. Election have consequences and this is one - the ability to select Supreme Court Justices who will sit for life. Look at the ages of Obama's picks - 55 and 61. They are not going anywhere for years.

Abortion, gay marriage, assaults upon Christianity... and we dare to sing God Bless America. Why would he bless us when we spit in his eye.

But now that we’re under ‘Mob rule’ due to DEMOCRACY, it wouldn’t stay fixed for long. The ‘Progressives’ would come along and muck it up again.
Kinda like the kid on the beach building sand castles. The bullies kick down the fortress and he just builds it up again until he doesn’t any more. We’re there.

The corporate elites have Jeb and Hillary in their back pockets.

The “Left” and the “Right” will never get anything we want from the Uniparty of D and R.

Maybe the starting point is a party attacking the corporate elite control over our political system exemplified by the trade scheme just passed. Paul and Cruz were with a lot of left leaning D’s on that.

That’s fine. I’m not putting the Cruz’s down, just stating why I’ve eliminated him from my possibles. Everyone should make their own choice for their own reasons.

I haven’t heard any conspiracy theories, rumors, or stories. I do heed the company a person keeps, though.

Weird how this just keeps resurfacing- that if we would just accept any candidate at all, yada yada... Conservatives must live self-inflicted pain or live in a fantasy world.

Neat you use your real name here. I refuse to be on Facebook because I don’t want to use my name. Or read about the minutiae if people’s lives, like what they had for breakfast.

I’m sure Big Brother is keeping track. I’m also sure they know exactly who and where I am, so it likely mattereth not.

Look up the definition o f”Conspiracy”. You have been BRAINWASHED to feel “uncomfortable” when almost anything smacks at the idea of “conspiracy” when every political action can be labeled a “conspiracy”.

These are world class experts in the art of deception and diversion. Some folks are just not equipped to deal with it.

This is caused by one (mostly) thing: Voter fraud

Millions of non citizen illegal alien insurgent criminal invading colonists are voting thanks to the dems and even the republicans who refuse to fight against this massive injustice to our American voting system.

And democrats have been using dead people's names to vote for decades.

Add that to ACORN...dissolved but still functional in every state under new names...and voting machines owned and operated by George Soros and Hugo Chavez in several states.

It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.---Joseph Stalin

When we hang the capitalists they will sell us the rope we use.---Joseph Stalin

I figure there’s no point. There is no privacy anyway. Besides, it takes one argument away from liberals about saying what I say anonymously. And I can prove I’ve been saying these things for as long or longer than FR has been around.

Freepers need to be more open-minded about the realities of our pathetic voter demographics here and SLOWLY work back to a conservative country because it can’t happen overnight with all the brainwashed minds we have now.

Has to be done in steps.

That’s resulted in a net fail over 30 years. Thats history and a line said after every major loss to justify more ‘steps’ and more fail. Thats the reality history documents.

Good for you!

I think it won’t be long before we will have to chose to stand up for our principles or let the country go. Stand up, as in how the founding fathers did - risking all.

Yes. Conservatives as a group could not even unite around a single candidate to go against Romney. They split the vote across three of them. I realize “uniting around a candidate” is not easy in the real world of politics. But until conservatives — as a group — can somehow unify around candidates and gain power then these defeats will continue.

We are not looking for the “perfect” candidate, we are looking for one that is actually a conservative. Not a leftist pretending to be one.

LOL, now that was good.

*Alarm bells*

"That Putin guy on a horse sure looks dreamy..."

ACK! Thanks, Norm! I held onto lunch for a while, but no more.

Now I have to worry about you, plus scrub the mental image of Vlad's doughy pecs out of my mind.

Look at Bonehead and McConnell and the Justices appointed by W and you think that is an improvement somehow

That is what is pathetic

Conservatives do unify around a candidate. The one with the most conservatism worth unifying around. But when there are none that can hit 80%, then you get the Romney fiasco.

And then you have to consider most ‘conservatives’ are nothing of the sort and here solely to guarantee unification behind a liberal GOP offering.
