Beginning in seventh grade, public school students in the Virginia suburbs outside Washington, D.C., will be taught about sexual orientation terms, including heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexualityand the gender identity term transgender, according to a newly adopted sex education curriculum.
The Fairfax County School Board voted last week to adopt the controversial new Family Life Education Curriculum.
The meeting was crowded with angry parents, many of whom spoke out against the sudden changes.

Thanks for getting the point.
Where did you get that number from?
Never mind, who is to say that things would not come to this pass with the 2012 GOP-e candidate in office?
I don’t know if it is sarcasm and I don’t care. For people to boycott a small door because it isn’t a large door is insane.
I wish we could trade Fairfax to Maryland in exchange for their “panhandle”.
Vote the bums out of office. Is that too hard?
With unpunished election fraud, it’s gotten very hard. The left do take Stalin seriously on the principle of it not being the votes that count but who counts the votes.
Yep.
Go at that school board using Alinskys 13 Rules (for winning):
1. Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.
2. Never go outside the experience of your people.
3. Whenever possible, go outside of the experience of the enemy.
4. Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.
5. Ridicule is mans most potent weapon.
6. A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.
7. A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.
8. Keep the pressure on with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.
9. The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.
10. The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.
11. If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside.
12. The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.
13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
I subbed so I’d know what was being taught. The students enjoyed when we went off curriculum to point out falsehoods in their texts and to discuss current events. Not once in 13 years did a teacher ever confront me.
Gender identity textbooks and outright pornographic materials which openly advocate pedophilia are being snuck into the schools. These use manipulative language : “children’s rights to sexual expression” ( if the child doesn’t resist coercion, the child wants sex ). Pedophiles are now “adult allies” of “gay and transgender children.” Teachers who refuse to teach this stuff will be fired.
Google “books for gay and transgender children”.
Google “GLSEN”—it’s in the schools, passing out porno and training educators to be “advocates” for homosexuality and pedophilia.
Google “ASFAR” —a group lobbying to lower age of consent laws.
“Boychat” is a message board for pedophiles. The board is monitored by anti-pedo activists, and many of their members have been arrested. It’s worth a look, just to see how gleeful they are over SCOTUS. They know they can slip out of the closet now, but they’re still being careful.
The massresistance.org site is very informative and has had some success in fighting back. Freepers involved. I learned much about the above mentioned topics from this site, just by following links where ever they go.
I’ve never ventured into kiddie porn or anything X rated , so if you’re careful, you won’t either. But the thinly disguised so-called “educational” pedo-advocacy that is out of the closet and in the schools (not coming, it’s here) is enough to turn your stomach.
IMO every parent needs to spend time researching this stuff, and contact your congress people about it. Not everyone can homeschool, and those who do still pay the taxes. And homeschooled kids will still be influenced by media and contact with public school kids.
Target the school board member
Back his opponent, or run for the office yourself.
And you will be denounced as a homophobe.
But as Mother Theresa said, do it anyway.
I saw analysis in early 2013 that said that 4 million people who voted for McCain in 2008 did not vote for Romney. Romney did get more independents but fewer Republicans than McCain. And it’s not because they had grown to love Obama. They just stayed home. Many of them when interviewed said that they could not vote for someone who belongs to a cult (Mormon Church). Go figure.
No statistical evidence exists for such a claim.
I’m sure you’re right that no one could ever say which Republicans stayed home and which may have been replaced by others voting for the first time as a Republican. Or for that matter, who changed from Republican to independent after 2008.
It was just a statistics game. There were 4 million fewer Romney votes from Republicans in 2012 than the number of Republicans voting for McCain in 2008.
But many analysts right after the 2012 election said that the GOP did a poor job of getting out their voters.
McCain: 60 million votes
Romney: 61 million votes from lower overall turnout
Anything else is speculation, at best.
And why can’t they teach US History? They did when I went to school in the 1860’s!!!
