Brittany Bloodhart- PhD in Social Psychology and Women’s Studies, currently a post-doctoral fellow and adjunct faculty at Colorado State University. Brittany will talk about ways to encourage pro-environmental behavior and policy support by psychologically connecting individuals with the impacts of climate change.

Panel Discussion with: Brian Crow- Master's student in the Colorado State University Atmospheric Science Department. Brian will summarize global climate change as we have observed it so far and what its effects have been in Colorado. Projected changes through the middle of the century (2050) will also be discussed, along with some of the implications for agriculture, ecosystems, and the economy.

Alyssa Stephens- Sociologist and Education Specialist for the City of Fort Collins Utilities. Alyssa will discuss research she conducted on how citizens in Northern Colorado experience the threat of hydraulic fracturing and how citizens interpret the circumstances surrounding threats, build relationships, and take action to protect their community.

So now we have the government funded “experts” lecturing us on the sociology and psychology of how to connect with people to combat the deniers.... Must be money in it....
