The Sun Is Going To Sleep

This Members-Only content from Suspicious0bservers.org has been shared on YouTube because it describes and frames what is probably the single most significant heliophysics discovery of the year. The subject of a coming grand minimum, despite some of the experts' concurrence and the data suggesting only one near-term outcome for the sun, has drawn controversy from many in the heliophysics community; I have fallen on the side of a coming grand minimum and am not shy about my praise for this mathematical model. I don't like most models; they tend not to match observational data - this one does.

I love global warming. Longer growing seasons and less disease. Cold sucks. A colder planet is more harsh. The idiots who think a warmer planet is dangerous are brainwashed. I’ll take another degree of planetary heat. Beats the alternative of going colder with all the downside that brings.

BINGO!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve already posted some info on this. Check the Newsmax TV Channel for the next time they air the documentary “Dark Winter”. Very good documentary about what is actually happening.

The sun has always followed a couple of different cycles of activity, one that is about 200 years, another around 26 years I think, don’t remember the exact numbers. It just entered a new 26 year cycle, solar activity and sunspots are diminishing, and that coincides with colder temperatures every time. That’s what happened during the era of Napoleon, the harsh winters resulted in crop failures, famine and ultimately wars. The Thames River in England was frozen over for years, people skated on it.

That’s what is happening again, solar activity is already showing a decrease, sunspots decreasing. Remember the past 2 really harsh winters? First time ever the Atlanta freeways iced over in 2013, last winter the northeast had snowfall that broke 100 year records. It’s not stopping. So far this summer is not as hot as the average Texas summer. I don’t think we’ve broken 100º yet. It should be over 100º in mid July.

That’s not all, in these periods, considered mini ice ages we historically see increased major volcanic and earthquake activity, already started. Remember the recent earthquake in Nepal was it? A couple in Chile in recent years, minor rumblings in California a few days ago...

Basically a promotion for Mr Casey’s book, but read some of the comments toward the bottom, interesting stuff. Some even think we’re headed into a major ice age, which is actually a possibility, it’s overdue I think.

Another interesting article I just found.

Bottom line, more scientists are beginning to see this, and agree, it looks like we’re headed into some really cold winters. Overall ambient temperatures have dropped slightly since 1997, which goes against the global warming idea, since it does not include any type of pause. Al Gore said the poles would be completely melted by 2013. Didn’t happen. Miami and New York city would be under water now. Didn’t happen.

I don’t just accept whatever some politician says, Al Gore is not a scientist. I look up whatever info I can find and compare it to what I see the weather doing. I remember temps of 106º here in Texas around 1997 or 1998, the usual high is around 104º. And that was 106º in the shade...since then I think 102º maybe 103º is the highest we’ve had.

In order to defeat the global warming hysterics and scam we need to frame the debate, and this is easier than you might think.

Instead of taking on global warming on the falsified data, failed computer models and hysterical emotionalism, we need to educate people on the scientific method;

-conjecture
-hypothesis with a basis on defining the success or failure of the conjecture
-theory with provable and reproducible experiment.

Consensus has nothing to do with science.

Science and the scientific method is a process, and when that process is followed, AGW fails on its own.

And to point out, AGW does not make past the “conjecture” stage.

The sun has always followed a couple of different cycles of activity, one that is about 200 years, another around 26 years I think, don’t remember the exact numbers.

The 11 year cycle is well documented. The new information suggests that there is also a ~400 year cycle controlled by two sets of magnetic fields that go in and out of phase.

When the magnetic fields are in phase, we get a solar minimum which is what they are saying is about to happen.

Here comes the cold.

Thanks for the post. I am a paid subscriber there. I had to chuckle during yesterdays public video. Ben was discussing a new “NASA” study dealing with ocean water differential. He mentioned there was criticism from other NASA scientists because of missing data from other ocean areas. Ben quipped that is the typical state of “climate science.” He has a deadpan way about him.

It’s a really interesting topic, I Haven’t studied it long enough to memorize a lot of details though. Those are a couple of the cycles I’ve read about, just couldn’t remember the numbers.

In Dark Winter Casey talks a lot about the 026 year one and the current 26 year that just started. I’d have to go back and do a lot of reading...

Another thing I read and can’t find now, I’ll probably stumble on it again, the CO² levels were much higher during both the Cretaceous and Jurassic periods than today, and the Cretaceous was cooler. I think the Cretaceous was something like 3000 times the CO² we have today.

Also according to what Casey said in Dark Winter, the rise in CO² levels is an indicator that follows a warming period, after it’s over so that should be a natural occurrence too, very possibly increased by man but not caused by us.

This is the coldest summer I can remember in all my 58 years. Here in SW Pennsylvania the first week of July the highs have barely gotten out of the 70’s. Today there is a forecast of a high of 82 and sunny. Thank God! my back yard looks like a hay field.

Yep. I finally got out yesterday to mow the westside of our driveway (.25acre). This is a very decent slope with clay, sandstone and shale.

The ground was spongy. We have had over 7 inches of rain in the past two weeks and I can count on one hand where our temperature climbed above 80 this summer. We are currently at 74 and the sun has come and gone today.

I was planning on cold frames for my raised beds. I think I'll speed up those plans.

I have never seen so many slugs and snails here.

Many scientists say we are heading into another mini ice age such as the one that started in 1645 and ended in early 1800’s. It will likely last for at least 30 years.
