FYI. Tickets are available at www.mcrptn.com. Tickets are $25.00 each. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., Barbecue starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Jackson Fairgrounds. Casual Dress. Tickets are also available locally at Deatons Carpet One.

I knew his Dad, too. Jackson is my hometown, so I know Gary Deaton as well. I used to be quite active in the local GOP. These days I live south of Memphis in North Mississippi, but I hope I can work it out to attend. And if so, I’d love to meet the local FReepers.

hey does anyone know the next time Cruz will be in Michigan and if at all possible will he come into the Upper Peninsula of MI? Not many of the candidates come into the area, Michigan Congressional District stretches over many counties in the Upper and Lower Peninsula, but very few come in . I know he is supposed to be at the mackinac center meeting at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island in either september or October? Please correct me if i have my dates wrong, mislaid my information.

I travel thru Jackson to Memphis once a month.
And within this time frame I will be in the Memphis area.
Jackson is about 80 miles from Memphis.

The last I went to an event featuring a Presidental candidate was
attending a campaign event in MS featuring Ronald Reagan many years ago.
I hope to get some pictures, but I have no clue how to post them here.
