Let's STUMP for TRUMP!
8/12/2015 | Nikos1121

Posted on 08/12/2015 6:51:46 AM PDT by nikos1121

Each day I become more and more sure that we need to coalesce soon behind one candidate. For me that candidate is Trump.

Sure, we need to get through a couple primaries, and all the articles and pundits out there who try and drive him off course, but one thing is for sure. The more I hear him speak, the more I like what I hear.

WE don't need specifics at this point. Most of the electorate, informed or uninformed, needs to hear goals, i.e. the final outcome.

I want to hear the generalities, about making this country great again, and us feeling good about ourselves again. About strengthening our military, improving our economy, lowering taxes.

I went through the God awful Carter years as a young man, and malaise now is ten times worse than it was then.

Trump has a book out on this!!!!! He needs to be heard.

HE was in Michigan last night. Every line spoken was music to our weary tired ears, that have heard nothing, but Obama nonsense day after day after day after.

Contrast this with what we hear from Hillary. The more you hear from her, the more you scratch your head disliking her.

I CANNOT IMAGINE THIS LADY AS OUR PRESIDENT. IT CANNOT HAPPEN.

BUT HERE IS THE BOTTOM LINE:

I think Trump needs to come out at some time soon, hopefully tonight, and declare that he is NOT going to run as a third party guy.

THEN WE COALESCE BEHIND HIM. AND IF HE HAS THE GOOD SENSE TO INCLUDE THE CURRENT FIELD INTO HIS ADMINISTRATION...MAYBE EVEN ANNOUNCE CRUZ OR CARSON ETC AS A RUNNING MATE, THEN NO ONE CAN BEAT US.

He does that, and it will go a long way, in my mind and for many others, to tell us he is serious. I then see him attracting all people from all political, ethnic, social etc backgrounds.

Anyway, that's my two cents worth this morning.

They can’t take down Cruz.

They have taken him down quite a ways with the low infos. They all think he is a crazy right wing religious nut. They were starting to understand that he might not be stupid. But they all think he is a religious freak and he was half way to Palinized and roasted.

Him being Trump’s veep might be the fastest way to get him into the President’s office.

You apparently feel that Trump can be counted upon to do this. Many of us do not share your view.

Don’t quite understand what your remark means, or to whom it’s intended. Please explain.

Trump, is a smart man. The republican party has market value as a name. I can’t imagine him going off and starting a third party campaign, UNLESS, the nominee is Bush, then I would support him doing that.

I like Cruz alot, have so from the beginning, but I think we need someone like Trump who is not afraid to action, and secondly, unite this country, like Reagan did. Cruz can’t do that. In fact, I would gather that he’s hated more by the party hacks than they hate Trump.

Maybe, but I can promise you that there are a whole heckuva lot conservatives...like me...who will not, ever, vote for Donald Trump. He is the same cult of personality that gave us Barack Hussein Obama, nebulous beliefs, nebulous character, nebulous loyalties.

So I would posit to you that there are a whole lot more Trump supporters who would be happy moving to Cruz than the inverse of that.

Trump is Hillary’s (or who ever the d’rats end up with) ticket to the White House.

The d’rats pickings this time around are so poor, they can’t even count on their usual voter fraud to win, so they need someone to split the other party’s vote. Someone who will go third party.

Say “Hello, Donald.”

Thanks, I’ll pass on the liberal charlatan and vote for an actual conservative.

How much $$$ do you think it would be worth to Trump to have a President Hillary Clinton who owed her election to his third party run??

We need to have an "office pool" here as to when the blinders fall from the last FR Trumpette's eyes.

Not the people who just enjoy watching Trump insult the media and the other candidates.....I'm talking the real Koolaid guzzlers who seriously think that Trump would be a conservative President.

I'll take October 25, 2015.

Two months ago no way I vote for Trump. Since then, I've been slowly warming to the idea.

I'm not there yet, but he's winning me over...and I absolutely approve of the enemies he's made.

I’m exactly the same...cautiously optimistic. He’s winning me over each time he talks.

I was watching the history channel last night. They had something on Rockefellar and Carnegie and them... and who do the interview for the series? Trump!!!!

You have to ask him what he’s getting from it. Definitely an ego stroke and lot and lots of publicity.

If he’s a democrat - he’s doing it for the team.

dear eric,

Hey! A response to read ... With Obama, Clinton, Carter, and Johnson as democrat examples; with Bush, and Bush, Ford, and Nixon as republican examples; the only one that did exemplify what you seek was Reagan.

And in this election cycle, I believe that Carson and Cruz completely pass the test.

Walker, Jindal, Paul, and Perry aren't "perfect" but they are good enough for me.

Trump, Huckabee, and Graham are completely out of the question.

The rest are in my "meh" bucket.
