Jason Derulo Plane Incident: Singer And Crew Get Kicked Off Flight, Fires Travel Agent

Jason Derulo was kicked off of a Southwest Airlines plane after he and his bodyguards got in an argument with the staff prior to boarding.

Jason Derulo and his crew were kicked off of a Southwest Airlines plane in Reno on Saturday on his way back to Los Angeles when he and his bodyguards got in a bit of an argument with TSA agents, according to TMZ. One of Derulo's reps said that they wanted to get through the airport as quickly as possible because TSA recheck was down, but one of the guys traveling with him was denied preferred boarding.

This angered Derulo, 25, and his posse to the point where they started yelling at one of the workers.

Derulo was eventually allowed on, but he was the only one since it was mainly his bodyguards starting the fight. All of them eventually went through security and boarded the flight anyways even after they were told they couldn't, and once they got on the plane, airport cops came and removed them from the flight for not listening to what the airport employee told them.

After the incident, Derulo took to Instagram to post a video of him and his crew now on a private jet. "Had to fire my travel agent for booking me somewhere I wasn't supposed to be, but now I'm here," he says in the short video. You then see one the members of his crew in the background saying, "You can't kick me off of this!"

Derulo also told TMZ that he would be buying his own private jet so he wouldn't have to deal with rude airport employees anymore. "It's alright," he said when asked about Saturday. "I'm buying a plane this month."

"Southwest treated the singer and his entourage shabbily," his rep said.

The best part is that these fools are now marked for life by the TSA. If they think they were “dissed”...they haven’t seen anything. No TSA Pre Check for them

This is why the likes of Madonna and Tom Cruise own a private jet.

On the other hand, a multi-billionaire once told a friend of mine, "You never want to own a jet. Lease." My friend laughed and said he doubted that the issue was ever going to come up.

JT has an ex-Quantas 707 that was gifted to him by the airline.... They wanted to give him a 747, but he declined the offer because of space considerations.

That 707-138B is a very historic plane because it was among the first jet airliners to fly across the Pacific, flying the Los Angeles-Honolulu-Fiji-Sydney route for Qantas.

Jason Aldean tried a “Don’t you know who I am” routine on a Destin, FL beach.

I don't know who Jason Aldean is, either.

I'm so old I actually remember when it was enjoyable to fly ...

My parents did a lot of commercial flying in the late 1940s.

There was no first-class, because if you were flying, you WERE first-class.

When you crossed the international dateline, you got an elaborate certificate suitable for framing, with drawn images of the four winds blowing, one in each corner (my mom still has one in the family albums).

And all the passengers got engraved passenger lists so they would know the names of the other passengers on the plane.

Looks like fun; would be a great way to deal with the long trans-Pacific flights. Except that you still have to deal with the aggressive jerks at TSA.

GA is the best way to go, if you can manage it.

Wow, real pioneers. I started in the mid 1960s and my first flight was a puddle jumper from New Bern to Wash DC. Not impressed at all.
But the next flight - from DC to home- was a jet that had real stewardesses, 2 free drinks and everyone wore suits/ties or dresses.
I was in uniform and some passengers actually thanked me for my service.

“Successful rapper?...flying SoWest???”

Our thoughts ran the same way.

If he is successful, charter a small private jet his thugs and him.

Sorry, TSA are not “travel agents”.

Travel agents are people who make reservations .. not poke through people’s bags and where ever.

Maybe he was pizzed that an agent booked him on a flight origination where the TSA are more fascist than usual.
