London's sky pool will let the super-rich swim through the air
The Verge ^

Developers in London are building what they claim is the world's first "sky pool" — a 25-meter-long swimming pool suspended 10 stories in the air between two blocks of luxury flats. The transparent pool at Embassy Gardens will be three meters deep with a water depth of 1.2 meters, and will be constructed with the help of aquarium designers using 20-cm-thick glass. The pool will allow residents to swim between the development's roof-top bar, spa, and orangery (a walkway will be available as well), with prices for apartments and penthouses in the complex starting at £602,000 ($942,572).

"It will feel like floating through the air in central London."

"My vision for the sky pool stemmed from a desire to push the boundaries in the capability of construction and engineering. I wanted to do something that had never been done before," said Sean Mulryan

I agree. It was one of the better movies I had seen in the past 5 years.

I have to disagree on Cruise as Jack Reacher. In the books, Jack is 6'6” and weighs 250 bone crusher. He is a rough and tough guy. Not Handsome but not ugly. That character played by 5'6”, pretty boy Cruise was terrible casting. He wasn't terrible, but he was not the right guy for the part.

Nah, TC carried the heart of Reacher. I am a fan of Lee Child’s books and Cruise would fit the bill for nearly all of them. Maybe his ego filled the 1’ gap...

I’ve read the 20 something Reacher books and couldn’t agree more. I don’t care if cruise got the “essence” of Reacher down, or not. He just doesn’t fit.

‘Tis since the earthquake now eleven years;
And she was wean’d,—I never shall forget it,—

IMHO, Collateral Damage was his best performance in the last 15 years.

Reacher was good if you had not read the books. His stature just did not fit the description of the character in the books. Six feet four, blond hair, 240 lbs in his mid 30’s.
However, he did a fine acting job.

with a water depth of 1.2 meters

4 ft. Belly-button depth. OK, Tom Cruise might drown standing up, but for normal people it's too shallow.
