Ha, 1.2 gig hard drives for FR storage? That’s what I had in the box I used back then. Cost $289+tax at Best Buy. After that, I learned to wait 6 months after the bottom fell out of the mem market. I bought a 8 mb 72 pin chip for $182 and right after you could have bought it for $12. No comment, I still feel the burn...as I bought 2.

John updating the software to close all HTML tags was a big improvement—maybe 2002 or so? Anyone newer than that cannot imagine what it looked like to see dozens of posts all in italic or bold or underlined or all three.

I am the only one who was able to beat him.
I used < P>& nbsp about a zillion times.

For a long time he was posting on Liberty Forum (I think that was what it was called, if not it was something close to that, it was a libertarian spin off with many banned Freepers).
I tried to find it the other day because another Freeper was asking me a question pertaining to it and I couldn't find it.
Anyhow that was quite some time ago. He was as belligerent over there as here.
