Great idea.
First good idea I’ve seen from either chain, in ten years.

Ever try to "Have it your way" at any McDonalds?
Their eyes glazed over, all production stops, panic ensues.

McDonalds already has a “McWhopper”. It’s called a McKinley Mac. “Everything is big in Alaska”.

McDonald’s has been losing a lot of market share for a simple reason: they are ignoring what their customers want, and paying attention to critics who don’t even eat at McDonald’s.
Bad mistakes:
1) Smaller burgers so fewer calories.
2) “Healthier” menus that nobody wants.
3) Salads. Seriously. Nobody eats salad at McDonald’s.
Fixes:
Make the Big Mac a Whataburger-sized burger, but twice as high, with a giant tray of regular french fries and a big milkshake. It doesn’t matter if it is $10, that’s what the public wants.
“My opinion is that the media is the main
supporter of healthy eating. We’re certainly
not hearing it from our customers”
— Andrew Puzder, CEO of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr.
