Firefighters in Britain said two crews responded to a report of a cow with its head stuck in a garden chair.
Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue tweeted a picture showing the cow with its head trapped in a plastic lawn chair about 7:50 a.m. Thursday.
The tweet said crews from Mounts and Wellingborough responded to the address in Boughton, England, to attempt to assist the boggled bovine.
The fire department said the cow managed to "self-release" from its predicament, but not before firefighters snapped a picture of the cow wearing its unusual headgear.

Cattle may not be the dumbest animals on the face of the earth (that being a position largely reserved for liberal humanoids). But they’ll do until someone finds one dumber.

I rule out heifers for the same reasons you guys rule out steers. At the size of this animal, which I would guess to be 750-1000 lbs, there should be some visible teats, maybe even a milk bag. "She" has nothing. And she is not a "young" heifer. She's older than a yearling, which means she is of breeding age.
Have a look here, among many other places: http://www.mattlautnercattle.com/fall-born-monopoly-steers/monopoly-steer-14/
Here is a picture of a steer from that breeder [on some of these woolier breeds, it's often difficult to see anything on a castrated male.]

No, sorry but it never was a bull unless there was some plastic surgery to remove all male parts
Moobama!

I don't think so. Take a look at my answer in
Post #45.See any of the original equipment in that picture [which is of a mature steer?] There is nothing to be seen. A heifer of that weight should have visible teats.

Regardless of size or weight, that female animal is a heifer, because she shows all signs of never having calved. By the looks of her large body she could well be, and probably is bred and carrying a calf. Her udder will not begin to swell and get ready for the birth until several weeks before she calves, which could be months away. When she does calve, since she is a beef breed and not a milking breed, her udder will never get as large as a Holstein’s, or even a Guernsey’s. Her only milk production will be to nourish her calf until it is weaned.
More information than you ever really wanted.

Except I've worked in dairy production agriculture for over 30 years, so none of it is news; and even if you're a farmer, I've seen a lot more cows, bulls, calves, heifers, and steers than you have -- of a lot more different breeds.
We must agree to disagree. That isn't a heifer.

She is until she drops her first calf.

I don’t care what you say. It’s a female. End of story.

Thanks, Tucker39. You know what you’re talking about and I grew up on a ranch and know what I’m talking about.
I’m not responding to any more city slickers.

Exactamundo.....but they DO have a penis. If you can show me any sign of a penis on that animal you'll make David Copperfield look like an amateur. 😊

Show me the junk on the animal in post #45. Or do think a breeder doesn’t know his own stock?

The animal in post #45 is NOT a heifer. The breeder at the web page I directed you to identifies that animal as a steer.
Please pay attention, or don't bother to respond.
