I mean it sounds like Jeb has fizzled and the GOPe are looking to hedge their bets by trying to woo Mittens McRomomom the wonder kitten to take the Jebsters place as the establishment pick...

Talk about "Throwing Good money after Bad"....

Romney had 2 good runs — 2008 and 2012.

The 2012 race was Romney’s to lose, and he did.

First, he allowed Steffinofoagus (sp) to frame a question that seemed to reveal the callousness of the GOP regarding women’s issues: Do you support states banning contraceptives? [No state was trying to ban contraceptives. It was a red herring and Romney bit.]

Second, he allowed Crowley to engage in the debate regarding whether Obama used the word terrorism. After Obama yelled out ‘get the transcript, Candy’, Romney cowered away from anything related to foreign policy.

Instead of engaging the battle, Romney cowered. He should have used the foreign policy debate to bring up the then recent Benghazi attack, but he didn’t. He basically phoned in that 3rd debate.

I doubt he would manage to get even half of the delegate numbers he had in 2012.

Is he still alive? I thought he assumed room temperature a few years ago?

I know Mitt was a bit stiff and awkward and uncomfortable with his immense wealth (unlike Donald), but I always thought him to be a good decent man.

Like Donald, Mitt knows spread sheets, organization, and how to run large organizations. Sure he’s a bit squishy when pressed by the PC crowd, but the left wing media pulverized him 24/7 and that would bring anyone down a notch. The man is a human. In short. I think he would make a very good president.

Don’t go all evil on me. As of now I’m on the Trump train but, if Romney jumps in I will definitely pause and think about it. I can’t help it.....I just have a soft spot for Mitt....especially after the brutal and unfair attacks he had to take from Obama, his mafioso, and the left wing media.

Agree about Romney the man. Thoroughly a decent good fellow. But he blew it in 2012. It is the Hour of Tower. And I stand with The Donald.

I agree with you. Mitt’s a squish and he’s not Trump.
And he has a stupid first name, like JEB.

They’d be better off digging up Nelson Rockefeller and running him.

Mitt, stop breathing so hard, turn off the light, and go to sleep.

Yes, Dear.

Sooo, the eGop wants to swap out a foundering squish and sub an already proven loser? I say with certainty that this once and for all exposes the ePublicans’ willingness to cooperate with the democrat party in order to support the status quo in order they might to retain their modicum of political position and power. Pathetic and puerile. String up the lot.

“String up the lot.”

Or as Lewis Black said: “Invite Congress out for an afternoon of electroshock treatment!” ;-)

Oh poor Mitt can’t take it from Obama but he can dish it out to conservatives. If he had so much trouble as you say from Obama, you think he’d do better with Hitlery? Mitt purposely threw the election because he does not run against libs. He’ll do the same thing with Mrs. Bubba when the GOPee tell him to lose.

The real problem with Mitt is that he’s not on our side. He’s with the same oligarchs that back JEB!. Why do you think they want Mitt to enter the race? It’s because JEB! has been a disappointment to them. They imagine they might switch to Mitt and fool some people like you into voting for their side.

You have to ask yourself a question. Do you really support someone like Trump who will fight US enemies foreign and domestic (them) or will you support the other side, the one that’s been backstabbing us and selling our country down the river for years?

Right now it looks like you may be waving the wrong flag.

Little Jebbie is falling apart. The Establishment needs someone.

If Romney gets in again, start saying nice things about Jebbie for a while.

Heh, heh, heh. Of the same mind, we are... ;)

The Founding Fathers would be lividly uncontrollable after witnessing what has become of their divinely-inspired creation that was meant to embody personal freedom. It seems the only freedom left in America is allotted to those tasked to supervising and controlling their cash cows, I mean, citizens. And I use the term citizens loosely.

Your respect for mittens is misplaced. The man had no intention of becoming president and the speeches and debates showed that very well. Did you ever wonder how he was so effective in clearing the field of competitors only to fold like a soup sandwich against the muzzi? Come on now.

This should be fun. Trump already said he owns a Gucci shop worth more than Romney is. After Mitt is done will they bring back McCain?

I, on the other hand, respect almost nothing about the anti-gun, pro-homo marriage architect of the prototype for Obamacare. Romney would have been better than Obama but not in every area and not by much in others.
