... "Look, having nuclear—my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart—you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world—it’s true!—but when you’re a conservative Republican they try—oh, do they do a number—that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune—you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged—but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me—it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are (nuclear is powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right—who would have thought?), but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners—now it used to be three, now it’s four—but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years—but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us." ...

You contradict yourself here, or are unclear in your reasoning:

I think the problem stems from your definition of amnesty and Cruz's. Cruz defines amnesty as granting a pathway to citizenship. He does not define amnesty as granting legal status, which is what he favors:

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/08/ted_cruz_vs_donald_trump_whos_stronger_on_immigration.html

Please also clarify how Mrs. Cruz is a “definite leftist”.

Here is a good video on the subject which I think does a good job in clarifying exactly what that means:

Oh, but I'll add this one last thing: he actually comes off fake.

I'll take Cruz's voting record as proof, thanks.

If we go by that, we'll use Cruz's amendment to the gang of eight bill-- which still supported granting legal status to 40 million illegals, albeit promising to bar them from citizenship. This is a position he supports to this day.

So, Trump’s talk and slips of the tongue aside, what does his legislative voting record or governing record say?

Nothing. He doesn’t have either as evidence of his comments for and against radical leftism.

Trump does ramble a bit. It’s what keeps his presentations lively. There are times when it gets too disjointed, but I’ve never seen him give as bad a delivery as Obama or even GWB.

OUR family if filled with 140+ IQ s that have attention deficit. I have absolutely no problems following him. He speaks much like we communicate daily. What is fun is when we are together and three or four different conversations are occurring simultaneously. He would fit right in!

I know where you are coming from. His mind is working ninety miles a minute. Funny you should mention that, because I was thinking along those lines earlier.

I've always had a problem with ramble-itis and it's cost me dearly. That's not the problem.

The problem is that people have lowered their standards towards Trump in many ways. If they agree with a politician only 90% of the time, that politician is a RINO. If they agree with Trump only 50% of the time, he's AOK.

I’ve had my fill of GOPe assorted three month old Left-overs.

Folks can trash Trump all they want. They can trash me all they want.

I’m so angry at the establishment that I’d almost vote for him if he said he’d give all our nukes to Russia.

You folks who are trying to make sense of this, stop.

What he is hawking to his campaign stops is stuff I like. That’s the long and the short of it.

Every single candidate is a fraud. They are not Conservatives.

I’m voting for Trump.

Now, on to the next idiotic reason I shouldn’t be voting for him while other great Conservatives make it easier for Iran to get nukes.

I’m sick and tired of it.

If these guys don’t want me going off the deep end, they can give us Conservatives who don’t vote for some of the stupidist s—t I’ve ever seen.

We go on and on and on about career politicians. One of our main beefs is the guy who never had a job in the private sector.

We get a self-made guy worth billions, and now he’s untouchable because he doesn’t have a voting record?

We ask our candidates to:

Build a wall on our border
Send the illegals back
Have them get in line
Build up the Military
Take care of our vets.
Get Health Care back to the private sector
Create jobs
Stop allow Nations like China to manipulate their currency so we can’t sell of there
Cut the Deficit
Only use the military sparingly
Treat our Friends decent
Make our enemies respect us
Support Israel
Dump on nations that don’t support Israel
Support good agreements, and trash bad one

On and on it goes...

So a guy goes out and promises to do these very things, and a big segment of Conservatives trash the guy non-stop, and insult those who will support him as if they have an IQ of ten.

In light of this, who do you folks think would ever take on the Conservative mantle again. They’d have to be freakin crazy to seeing the reception Trump has gotten from some of you.

As for the other guys that claim to be Conservative, two of them voted to reduce the number of people having to support the Iran deal by half for it to pass.

For the record, the anti-Trump folks think at least one of them should be president.

How do you guys show your face around here?

“I’m sorry that Cruz comes off to YOU as fake. Thousands of others who have been to his rallies disagree with that assessment. However, since it is a subjective stance, I have no empirical data to argue the point.”

The problem is Cruz for whatever reason, can’t win, bless his soul. He knows it too, which is why he is pairing frequently with Trump. I think part of it is just not being particularly telegenic. I know it’s un-PC to say it, but he kind of looks like an Aztec head at the top of a totem pole, facially speaking. He’s not particularly handsome, striking but oddly put together in facial features. Somewhat discordant. Plus he has a kind of Mickey Mouse voice. How superficial you say, and you are right. However, I suspect that to more than some folks his looks, along with his odd voice quality are a turnoff.

Bobby Jindal has a similar problem in that he is close to being facially ugly; again my knowing this is one of the unkindest cuts of all, nevertheless it is true. It’s why, in spite of being a wonderful man, fair of physical form, and quite brilliant (like Cruz is), he won’t get anywhere. All things being equal, if you have the options and can choose a candidate who is intelligent as well as easier to look at, you will go for that default over the candidates where only one of those qualities are present. How petty we humans can be.

I maintain that if Abraham Lincoln lived in today’s modern visual media world, he’d never get elected President. Hillary and Bernie Sanders will also fall for the same reason, both are older looking and rather ugly. That’s just life folks. Biden if he chooses to run, will fare better, as facially he is pleasant looking.

Like Donald Trump I am being exceedingly un-PC here, but also like Trump I voice the truth. Speaking of Trump (my fave) he is a larger than life, imposing man, tall (6’3”), fair of face, and intelligent, the whole package. And he has an infectious personality, a quick wit, and a positive “Make America Great Again” attitude. The Donald is a patriotic doer and builder, a natural leader. He has made this primary season exciting, something it never was until he announced his candidacy for President. He has that “it” quality.

Trump already looks presidential. And he is a winner, as you will all find out when he is no longer Citizen Trump and will become President Trump. November 2016, when our long national nightmare will finally be over, can’t come soon enough. All hail The Donald, easy on the eye and smart as can be, a twofer. I love the man (cerebrally speaking).

This is a funny clip good to base a Saturday Night Live skit on.
Trump makes real mistakes don’t be so frustrated.
Using insulting characterizations and generalizations of Trump’s supporters makes you look stupid.
There’s no intelligent reason to do that.

His style works for him. It’s very disarming and makes him approachable. No doubt other candidates would gladly sacrifice some of their scripting to connect with the audience as he does.
I’d still prefer more rigor, but that’s my personal taste.

If anyone can translate, that’d be good.

I think you had to watch his reality show to know how to speak Donald.
