Seriously I Knew Stiv Bators, Brian James (the damned) and Dave Treguna.

Stiv was a wild man and hijacked the stage of one of my friends band and there was nothing you could do about it.

Loved the Ramomes but Holy crap, Stiv Bators was a wild man.

Brian an Dave were kinda like lets have a beer, get out of his way man.... LOL

I thought they were from San Fransisco.

Don't know where they're from but as I stated in my prior post, that's how they came up with their name..........

I was recently pointed to a late 70s concert that The Cramps did at the Napa mental hospital. It’s on YouTube.

You must check it out. That is some amazing stuff there....

Probably wore them for the same reason Abba wore their crazy outfits. They could only write off the cost of stage cloths as a business expense if they were so outlandish that they couldn’t be worn in everyday life.

Of course Joey also loved the 60s psychedelic garage band era. Did a whole album of covers, Acid Eaters.

These guys and CW McCall were everything wrong with the 1970s.

Oh, and that disco thing, too.

They basically saved Rock and Roll from itself.

True that.

Well, it was meant for kids. I was around 11 or 12 at the time and liked it.

I thought you were referring to my other post regarding the Archies and 1910 Fruitgum Company. Because I don't know if I would consider the Bay City Rollers "Bubblegum". These others, definitely.

They were not a crap band, in the US only Come On Eileen was a hit, but in the UK they had several. And Eileen was the weakest. Songs like ‘Geno’ (1980) are deserved classics.

Listen to them on Spotify or youtube. They were a damn good band.
