Looks like a white guy, a democrat , and his old lady is pretty good lookin’.

I don’t know how you punch a 78 year old though. Whatever happened, best to just walk away.

I’m disappointed the article failed to describe who detained the perp after the assault, and how. Costcos are enormous—how did he not get away?

11 years in prison is not enough punishment for this loser.

I strongly disagree.......the punishment should equal the crime and 11 years in prison is a ridiculous sentence.

The only sentence should be for criminal assault with the assailant paying for the medical costs and sitting in jail for at least 30 days.......

It is a real tough sentence.

Heck, in Many places in Europe, you might get 11 years for 1st degree murder.

Dude should get some penance though, and he should feel like a real scumbag.

It's clear that we need to outlaw Costco samples.

Yes, I'm serious.

Kinda...

Future nurse with a attitude. Stupid, illiterate and entitled is such a bad combination. As expensive as it was for the 78 yo victim, I'm relieved this thug will never be a nurse.

Personally, I think he ought to be tied to a chair, then arm the victim and his loved ones with baseball bats, then turn them loose on him.

The guy is a scumbag. 30 days in jail isn’t enough. And I’ll bet this loser doesn’t have the bucks to reimburse his victim’s medical expenses.

He’s a sanger to the public. He punched a 78yo in the face over Nutella waffles. What might he do over a parking spot fracas?

Ah, very interesting.

I did not know either of those things, so I really appreciate the info.

I was wondering what kind of last name that was he had.

And yeah she is real pretty.

I saw that he is charged with some things very specific to his elderly victim, so I guess that is why he is facing more time than one might face in a run of the mill assault.

But yeah, I think his crime is one of those crimes that’s not going to go over very well with other fellas in jail. Who the heck slugs an elderly person in the face like that -_-

Total a hole. My dad when 80, when his Alzheimer’s wasn’t so bad, went to that Costco and enjoyed the samples. This guy is scum.

I would be very happy if Costco stopped the damn sampling, it's hard enough to shop there without people using the sampling stations to feed themselves and their families while blocking the aisles.

I was in a COSTCO in Utah when one of the gals at the sampling station put out a big plate of cheese and crackers. I angled over to get one and one of these 10-kids Mormon families got in ahead of me and acted like human locusts. The plate was clean in seconds. I just moved on, but saw those families on the prowl throughout the store and stayed clear of them, knowing it was no use to try and get a sample.

Here in California it's not the Mormons, and if you are thinking it's just folks from south of the border, well you aren't putting the right........ slant on the story.

I had to look up Kreskin, but OK, I’ll take a stab at it.

A bipedal mammal whose first response is violence, with no regard for whom the violence is directed against, might reasonably be expected to do so again. The rest of us look askance at people who make no special accommodations for the aged and infirm, the young and vulnerable. This male sex organ punched him precisely because he was old. So warehouse him with other wild beasts.

Regards,
Kreskin
