Campbell Soup's first major brand push in five years depicts real families, including a gay couple and their son, along with real weather patterns as the soup giant tries to tap into what's really going on in people's lives when it's time for soup.
The effort carries the new tagline "Made for Real, Real Life," which aligns with the company's corporate purpose of "real food that matters for life's moments."

No more Campbell’s soup for my dogs, which is all it’s good for anyway.
companies are being forced to pay the fag-tax in order to do business
the only way to stop this is to make it less profitable to support them then to bow to them
why all this pandering to 2% of the population? It is more propaganda than trying to increase sales. I don’t know how you turn a nation’s thinking around. These people infected the entire country like a virus with no cure
Massive unemployment rates, yet people are STILL hiring Marketing and Ad “pros” who use the tired “Real this. Real that.” cliche. Wow.
Agreed. Campbell soup is off my buy list. Years ago I knew someone who used to work there. He said they would flick cigarette ashes in the vats. I didn’t know what to think. With them supporting the homos one can only guess what else someone might be imjecting into the mix.
YUK!!!
oh man you just made me choke that was so funny.....LOL
Jeeze, nothing is upsetting as showing a same-sex male couple with their plaything.
Another great old American company dives into sh*t.
They are just like everybody else. Honest.
They were born that way.
Junk science.
They use artificial lubes and muscle relaxers because it IS an unnatural act.
Corporations have already begun trying to eliminate Father’s Day. Don’t you recall the advertisement with womyn talking about being single and important in their child’s life that aired at Father’s Day?
2% of the population but much higher numbers in the media. Much higher numbers in Human Resources departments. Much high numbers at the executive office level of America’s companies.
You will be made to bow to the homofascists.
Tylenol ran a very similar one.
I’d love to ask these two twinkies, man to man so to speak, ‘which one of you carried that child to term’, at which point upon receiving the only possible answer, I would say ‘in what regard then, do you stipulate that the child belongs to you, as fathers....?
Instead of burnishing their paternal credentials at the expense of a surrogated child, they should more correctly say, as they shove soup down the kid’s throat, ‘I am almost your father’...
and as we all know, from television, no less, that ‘almost you’ isn’t ‘really you’...
and also, it is overwrought, awkward, and utterly stupid as a production...
Gosh, it’s been years since I’ve been confronted with amyl nitrate.
I dont even want to think about it.
Campbell’s Soup: now with even more anal sex and fecal material.
Hello, Progresso.
Canned soups generally have too much salt. PERIOD. About half to 2/3s of a day’s sodium intake.
I am still waiting for a Viagra ad with one male in their respective bath tubs, holding hands, watching the sunset.
that particuar commercial would require that Pfizer, the owner of Viagra, partner with Unilever, the owner of Vaseline...such telegenic possibilities...
Progresso light soups are good. I use them as a base, adding in tomatoes, mushrooms, and black beans. I need to get back on the Fuhrman plan, get the pounds off.
