* Gowdy is distancing himself from all these remarks - noting how none of these people actually serve on the committee
House Benghazi Chairman Trey Gowdy has a message for Republicans: shut. up. 'I have told my own Republican colleagues and friends, "Shut up talking about things that you don't know anything about,"' Gowdy said today on Face the Nation.
Gowdy was trying to prevent further foot-in-mouth moments after House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy implied that the House Select Committee on Benghazi was responsible for killing Hillary Clinton's poll numbers, an admission that allowed the Democratic frontrunner to label the panel as nothing more than a partisan hack job.
Following McCarthy, a former Republican investigator came forward and said he was fired because he refused to engage in a partisan witch hunt – claims that the committee denied.
Then, Rep. Richard Hanna said, 'I think that there was a big part of this investigation that was designed to go after people, and an individual, Hillary Clinton.'
Finally, presidential candidate Carly Fiorina chimed in, saying about Clinton's scheduled testimony in front of the committee this Thursday: 'I wish for once Mrs. Clinton would be prepared to stand and be held accountable for the murder of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya.'
Gowdy noted how none of the Republicans talking were actually on the committee.

I used to be very critical of Gowdy, but he seems to be the only one we’ve got in the fight.
So I’m urging the same, as impatient as we all are with the crimes of the Obamanites and their stooges.

I have a hard time believing that House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s comments were anything but intentional. How could he possibly be where he is and not know the effect his comments would have?

I think that you have it wrong. The Huma testimony was supposed to be limited to what did she know about Benghazi and when did she know it. They were not supposed to ask her about anything else, except Benghazi communications.
The GOPe wants this to go away. They are implicated by extension in the Benghazi fiasco also.(IE McCain and Linda)

Most people don’t realize the gravity of your comment.
Due to how our electoral process works, even if Cruz or Trump or whoever was so charismatic to be up have a super majority percentage in the polls, the electoral process already has the democrats winning a large amount of the electoral votes. I believe a Republican will win, but due to the electoral process it will be much much closer than people will expect.
