Doing this basically dooms all students of this school district. No college will accept a student from Sonoma County without the student first completing an entrance exam and then taking 1 to 2 years of remedial classes or they will be required to have attended a community college or equivalent.

So, all a teacher has to do is make the big tests TRUE OR FALSE and no one can fail!

Or working for a Mexican American, who knows math and how to read and runs his/her own business. Who want dumbed down people to work for them.

This action by the teacher’s union, is aimed at keeping Mexican kids in school to get the federal and state $’s per student and the white kids with parents who can’t do math nor read past a primary school level. If their kids know how to operate a smart phone and are able to text. They are happy because the kids can teach them how to use their smart phones often paid for by tax payers.

They don’t care, they get paid the same/day for a dumb student versus a smart student by the feds and state. Many schools get more per day to help the dumb ones to pass.

A LOT of kids are now graduating from high school unable to write cursive!

My kids go to a high end private school, and by 3rd grade...

I went through private school, but in 5th grade when we moved from VA to TX, I spent a month or so in public schools because my parent's weren't going to pay a full semester of tuition for a month of school. After about the first week, my public school teacher wanted to have me tested to move up a grade. Since we were leaving, though, my parents said it was just a waste of time.
