You got your FR friends, and Jesus. With Him, you are never alone.

Christmas is a time to really focus on Christ. He left his throne and came to save us after all! And on top of that, He promised us Eternity if we just believed in Him and accepted His sacrifice!
I’m married w/2 kids, but sometimes it feels “alone”—married folks will understand that.

All of you who are alone on Christmas, my prayers are with you! Life isn’t easy, but you can rest on Christ’s Promises. Families & Friends will let you down, but He never will.

God Bless You All this Christmas!

not alone. I’m here with my better half but I’m not with my family in New Jersey and because this head injury prevents me from doing certain things on certain days. I felt a little down about it but happy to see fellow freepers on this site chilling out. gives me a chance to get to my comment about our head injured warriors. We need to think of them and do so much more for them especially at this time of year. mine is nothing compared to most of theirs. Merry Christmas to all of them and to you guys.

Dude, Merry Christmas! I am tuckered out and could go to family for Christmas but it is time for rest.
Last 4 days in Fayetteville and the previous 4 days in DC.
We have a cool TW channel in Charlotte 1020 that shows Christmas Town USA. (McAdenville)
My neighbor next door invited me over for an early dinner tomorrow. I have gifts for any occasion and she gets a good one. She is 84 years young.
Christmas is a time to thank God for everything.
My favorite....... O' Holy Night

Have two friends who were. One other in a bad place with his family.

I’m blessed with a great family. Took time out from them to be with the one guy (got him to laugh - WIN!), hanging out with the other tomorrow so he is not alone, and stayed in touch with the third by phone.

Christmas is tough for a lot of people.

If you are alone, find friends who will be there for you. If you are not alone, be sensitive to those in your life who might be. And pray for them as well as yourself.

Make it a Merry Christmas in fact as opposed to just name!

PS Prayers sent your way, Skooz, whether or not you believe in such.

I don’t have to be alone, but I’ll piss off somebody no matter where I don’t go. I’ve been happily divorced over 25 years, so no wife. My youngest daughter, son in law and 2 grandkids live with me, but are going over to his kin for dinner, festivities.

This is one of the downsides to being single.

my kids are all grown...years ago....
All grand kids are grown...now with their own families....
One grand daughter lives down the road but she's off and gone with her church group....
SO.....
It's just me and the dogs (and new puppies).....
As long as I have my dogs...I'm never really alone.....

God Bless

Sort of alone. Wrapping gifts and sending Christmas greetings via e-mail to some old friends while I listen to 150 Christmas carols on iTunes in "shuffle" mode. Bing Crosby's "Do You Hear What I Hear?" was just up. Ed Sullivan's "O Bambino" is on now. These are two of the best versions of any Christmas song of all time, in my mind.

Getting ready for midnight Mass in a little while.

Merry Christmas and all the best to you and your daughter tomorrow. May 2016 and beyond bring nothing but great blessings for your family in times like this when we sometimes wish things could be better.

One cold and blessed winter,
In days beyond recall,
A Child was born to save us,
Born to save us all.
One cold and blessed winter,
Born to save us all.

O Bambino, mio Divino,
Io ti vedo qui tremar.

I spent a lot of time semi-alone on the holidays in the military.
With no children and overseas, I usually worked on the holidays, so others could be with their families.
I'm familiar with Divorce and it's one of the hardest things in life to go through.
However, there are times when my aging mother makes me desire to be somewhere else.
I do what I can, but her approaching second childhood is a real load.
Do what you can, and live where you choose, but service to others is rewarding in the end.

Merry Christmas to you and all others who are spending this holiday alone. I am lucky that my 20 yr old son still lives with me but am single as well. Lost my husband to cancer 11 years ago. But it’s ok, maybe one of these days I’ll find someone else. For now it’s me the boy and the dogs. All is well.
