Bristol Palin Welcomes Second Child
Washington Examiner ^ | 12/25/2015 | Kelly Cohen

Posted on 12/25/2015 10:34:51 AM PST by conservativejoy

Bristol Palin, the daughter of 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, has given birth to a second child.

Bristol Palin, who turned 25 in October and is a vocal advocate of sexual abstinence before marriage, tweeted Thursday that her "heart just doubled" at the birth of her new baby girl, Sailor Grace.

Palin announced she was pregnant in June, a few weeks after her engagement to Dakota Meyer , a 27-year-old U.S. Marine who received a 2009 Medal of Honor , was called off after a year-long relationship. Meyer tweeted a photo of the baby girl, too, writing: "Best Christmas present ever!! I couldn't be more proud of this little blessing."

Palin's first pregnancy came when she was 17 in 2008 during Sarah Palin's vice presidential campaign. Tripp, who turns seven this weekend, is the son of Bristol'' previous ex-fiance, Levi Johnson, 25, whom she was with from 2005-10.

My father-in-law’s was in early January, like the 3rd or 4th. Some years I remembered to remind my husband to send a card. His mother and stepmother, I don’t even know. I send them Christmas cards and pictures of the children when we have new ones.

It’s been so warm here, I’ve got spring garden vegetables up. If we don’t get some deep freeze, the bugs are going to be terrible next year.

Whatever works for your in-laws LOL. My Grandmothers is January 1st and My Other Grandmothers was January 12th, so Like I said, busy time of year ;)

Kansas weather does kill any invasive creepy crawlers that come up from the south, The past 4 or 5 years we had snow on the ground on Christmas Day. Not this year though.

I have nothing against my in-laws, but I expect my husband to do most of the dealing with them, since it’s his family.

#2 Son just said his friends want to go to Florida tomorrow and return Sunday. It’s about 8 hours one way. I might have done it when I was 19 ...

Whatever your Son Does, make sure they stay on the Interstate Highways if they can.

Last year when I went and visited Sweet FReeper Onyx, I learned the Difference between a Highway and an Interstate.

The Dark Country of Roads of Arkansas wasn't fun to navigate in the Rain in Late October at Night. ;P

Bristol ain’t perfect. But just like an alcoholic that has fallen off the wagon two, or three, or more times one has fought to stay sober and walk the straight and narrow much of the time. For many of us alcohol is not a temptation but other things like sex, money, pride, and other things do tow our minds at times. Following the Gospel helps us but some of us are going to stumble more than just once.

The baby is here and it is not a proper time to wag a finger at Bristol. We can celebrate the baby without reservation.

Especially coming from so call Conservative. What is done is done, I am happy that Bristol kept her baby. She is dammed if she do or not. People will bring such judgmental post. Yep, even on the Holiest nights of all.

Sarah and Todd are proud gramdpa and grandma. What a blessing to have a birth near Christ birth.

I think his friend’s parents would be driving, and there’s a straight shot on the Interstate from here to there.

photo 9d45f6ba-5bcb-436c-a840-c52513fe1323_zpshg9fzzba.jpg It seems a lot of folks around here would never have a real understanding of what it means to be rich in children.

If we don’t get some deep freeze, the bugs are going to be terrible next year.

Are you sure that isn't folklore? As kids, we sometimes placed live insects in the freezer, took them out and guessed how long it would take for them to thaw and fly/run away.

No, I’m not sure, but the locals think next year’s bugs are worse after a mild winter.

How is truth now nastiness?
Consider this, Blackirish was maybe using spiritual discernment, which is not being judgemental, but is in FACT allowed by the Bible.

It is TRUTH that Bristol was supposed to be teaching by example that having a baby out of wedlock was not a good idea (note I did NOT say that having the baby was a BAD idea), and yet she got pregnant AGAIN out of wedlock.

Children are a blessing, but it is better for them to have married parents.

I've heard that too but tend to believe a few degrees one way or the other won't affect a bug's ability to survive and bug us next season.

Sorry, I recognize intentional nastiness and cruelty when I see it. IMHO, it would not be unexpected (to me anyhow) that Bristol will be a fine mother to her children. And (now it’s MY time to be judgemental) if I were a child I’d sure as hell rather be raised by Bristol than by some of the NASTY, JUDGEMENTAL folks GLEEFULLY taking the opportunity to cast the first stone at Bristol. I wouldn’t want those folks in my life for one minute.

Give it up, Shadowstrike; logic will get you nowhere. After reading through this thread I can only surmise that we are only allowed to criticize young women who've had multiple kids by multiple men out of wedlock when their names are Shaniqua and LaTrina. When their names are Bristol, and we know and love their mothers, we are hateful if we comment. Never mind that the Shaniquas of the world may never have been taught better, are in keeping with their cultural norms and may have even have entered into the world in the very same way themselves; only they should be trashed on this forum when they fall short of God's standards. Free passes for those who grew up knowing better!!

I certainly hope to see Bristol's staunchest supporters here defending Shaniqua and LaTrina on future threads and celebrating their next rounds of out-of-wedlock babies.

Yahoo headline said “Baby Daddy Comes Forward”. Like they’re black or something. And he’s white, by the way. A Marine, I think.
