If this was due to untreated depression/ schizophrenia, it’s a shame she didn’t do something about her state before it reached this level. Maybe she never expressed her feelings to other people, only giving them the answers and reactions they expected.

Two other grandchildren, a 1-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl, were also under the care of Raines-Hewes Maybe people should raise their own kids instead of dumping them on Grandma. I swear, this is one reason I never had kids. You think you are done when they grow up? Nope. They expect you to take care of their kids too. Eventually, some women snap, and I don't approve, but I can see how it would happen.
