13 Hilarious Reactions of Muslims on Twitter to ISIS Leader
aplus.com ^ | 1/3/16 | Cate Mathews

Last week, Iyad El-Baghdadi, a human rights activist born in the United Arab Emirates, tweeted out portions of a call-to-action to Muslims worldwide by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader of the Islamic State. He asked people to "rise up" and join the extremist group in their fight.

Muslims on Twitter found the request hilarious, and took the opportunity to have a little fun.

In an American political sphere that occasionally posits Muslims — not some Muslims, not a very, very small number of extremists — as uniform threats to national security, Twitter's collective response to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's request speaks to just how ridiculous those concerns are.

Not just because Islam is a religion too often confused with a terrorist movement. Not just because Muslims are people with as diverse beliefs and political affiliations as every other group of people.

But because they just simply don't have the time.

This gives me a little hope that there are some Muslims out there who are willing to stand up and mock these bastards.

Great but if only 1% of Muslims are inclined to be terrorists that’s a lot of bad guys. If we bring in 100,000 Muslim “refugees” that would be 1000 potential terrorists.

“... if only 1% of Muslims are inclined to be terrorists that’s a lot of bad guys.”

The figure, conservatively, is somewhere between 10-20%, not 1%. The disparity between 10 and 20 breaks this way: 10 is the number media talking heads use; 20 is the number muslims use.

I agree completely. I just think it’s worth noting that there are some, though not enough, who are willing to stand up. Another is the Muslim cartoonist who participated in the Draw Mohammed contest last year.

Guess what.. .I don't care that there are x amount of Muslims that mock ISIS. . .It is the wrong focus. . .It only furthers the notion that we hayseeds have to be reminded, ad infinitum, that Muslims are human too. . otherwise we march to the nearest Mosque with our pitchforks, torches and rope in hand.

The proper focus should be this: What are all these kindly Muslims going TO DO. . about THEIR PROBLEM that has been foisted upon humanity and has now become OUR problem. THAT'S what I would like to know. . .I already know how to make wise-ass comments about ISIS.

So muslim immigrants to the West include only a “very, very small number of extremists “

That’s like hearing that the blood transfusion that you’re about to receive contains only a very few cells with the aids virus.

Stand up all they want for all the good it will do. They haven’t a ‘koranic leg’ to stand on. And they know it. The point is: you don’t.

Sure some of them maybe genuine, but more likely are operatives putting out disinformation bound to get kafir’s attention. All the better to lull Westerners into believing the lie, while their troops openly attack all things not muslim.

Hope and Islam are not compatible - hope is a Christian notion. Islam brooks no hope because allah controls everything down to the subatomic level - absolutely everything is predetermined.

I understand what you’re saying, and agree. I just wanted to see what would happen if I interjected a little view from the other side. Pretty much the response I expected.

There are some, no doubt, but I suspect some tweeters are US employees feeding candy like this to the press for domestic consumption.

If you profess to be a mosselimb, then you embrace the belief structure. That is what it means to be a part of any group. The mooselimb belief structure is very clear and plain: it s a complete system of totalitarianism including judicial, cultural, political as well as religious control and conformity. The belief structure clearly includes the goals of world domination and the enslavement or murder of non-mooselimb.

I do not care if a mooselimb claims to not support terrorism, because they all are terrorists to all non-mooselimbs - that is their belief system. If they do not believe in slavery, murder, rape, etc, they would reject being a mooselimb and become something, anything, else.

There is no such thing as a good person, who is a mooselimb. Put them in an environment where mooselimbs are in control, and they will completely go along with the rape, murder, slavery culture.

The nicest thing that can be said about some mooselimbs is they are not the actual murderers or rapists, they are just accessories to these crimes against humanity.

Good post.

No one wants to say “the only good Muslim is a dead Muslim” or I don’t think they do.
We express a lot of frustration and vent some but Americans have shown a lot of tolerance since 9/11.
That we do not want questionable refugees is reasonable and that this administration and our
lawmakers don’t care what we want is absolutely infuriating.

90% 0f Germans opposed Hitler’s policies of world domination and Jew extermination. Meant nothing. 90% of Germans did not stop him, the Allies did.
75% of Muslims are peace loving people. So what! They are not going to war against the 25% who are slaughtering innocents.
Muslims must reject terrorism as a tactic for furthering world domination. Mosques and Muslim governments must go to war against terrorists. Groups like ISIS and Boko Haram must be condemned in the harshest terms and their adherents killed or imprisoned by Muslim authority.
It is not sufficient for Muslims to claim to be peace loving. They must be willing to oppose those who kill in Allah’s name as evil and must rid their faith of this scourge.

The biggest problem America faces right now is not the Muslim minority. It is the traitors in congress and treasonous democrats who support their pathologically lying leaders.

I suspect that the majority of followers of all religions are not devout practitioners. Sure they may go to church or temple once in a while, and celebrate the relevant holidays, and pay lip service.

But most, I’m pretty sure, just follow the procedures on the bare minimum level because it’s what they were raised with, and because it’s what their families expect.

I think the people who sent these tweets sound like that.

But that doesn’t change the fact that Islam is an evil, totalitarian doctrine, and that its founder — the “perfect man” — was a murderous, thieving, slave enforcing pedolphilic rapist psychopath.
